What is your experience integrating Oracle BI Mobile HD, Oracle Security Tool Kit with your own security solution?

Hi,

I recently found out about this website via a Quora discussion thread posted by Russell.

My team has just finished an implementation, integrating OBIEE Security Tool Kit (SDK) with our own security tool “Mobile Secure Gateway” to provide a complete secured mobile solution for Oracle BI users.

Would like to learn from others who have done somewhat similar integration? What is your take on this?

And I would like to hear more from those who have used this mobile solution from Oracle.

Hello,
We did the same with mobile iron. Authentication runs with no problem. On the other hand we experienced orientation problems with the security tool kit. It does not scale the reports when the device oriented.

Hi Mustafa,
Thanks for your feedback. We did an integration with Good for one company, and couldn't get it to work with the Security toolkit. Eventually to we tried another solution that works only after 15 minutes. teskalabs.com/products/secure-oracle-bi-mobile-hd.

I’m reaching out subject-matter-expert on the Oracle BI Mobile application (users, integration managers, etc.) to hear their opinions on the app, especially on the security aspect and the result user experience.
