We performed a comparison between Tungsten TotalAgility and UiPath based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."Kofax is very easy to use, UI-friendly and allows easy data extraction."
"It's a growing tool that offers a complete package of BPM, case management, and capture capabilities."
"One feature I like is that it makes the matrix easy for an unstructured document."
"Kofax TotalAgility is a single package. They provide you with OCR capabilities, BPM capabilities, and case manager features."
"Kofax TotalAgility is a great design tool for reading handwritten invoices."
"Its integration capabilities are valuable. It has low code/no code features. You have to do minimal coding."
"What I find most valuable in Kofax TotalAgility is its OCR feature. I also find its workflow and business process management capabilities valuable. Kofax TotalAgility also has good integration with other solutions and has an API call feature."
"The product is really good, and it is easy to use. It comes with multiple integrations. The solution keeps up with the trend of Microsoft Copilot and AI."
"The Academy courses are good. That's usually what I start new developers with; to do those and then kind of have them go and try to do courses periodically to kind of stay up to date and especially when a new release is coming out. The hands-on training is the most valuable part of it."
"The most valuable feature is the ability to utilize UiPath beyond our scheduled work hours, making it available 24 hours a day."
"The easy development process is very useful for us."
"The initial setup is good. There are no problems."
"It is very easy to use, and you still have a lot of possibilities to modify what you are trying to do and achieve."
"One of the reasons UiPath is so successful is the UiPath community. We have tremendous people in the community supporting each other in terms of development or community events."
"In terms of ROI, we are saving more than what the platform costs us. We are at about 1.5 million in savings due to a recent automation. It was a little less than that before. These are soft savings and don't show up on balance sheets. We're trying to work toward automations that actually do lead to hard savings. We've saved about 43,000 hours in a year so far."
"Insights have been super valuable because they help us determine the benefits of our bots."
"Kofax TotalAgility is quite vast and complex as a product. We came from Kofax Capture and Kofax Transformation, then we started learning Kofax TotalAgility, so there are a lot of things that were quite straightforward in the Kofax Capture and Kofax Transformation cross-motion modules, but to do those in Kofax TotalAgility was a bit more complex or quite long-winded and could be improved. In the next release of Kofax TotalAgility, it would be good to have a straightforward low-code or no-code process because there were instances we struggled with having to put logic into a script or a .NET script, then calling that script, instead of the process being low-code, no-code."
"Sometimes there isn't enough accuracy when it comes to extracts."
"The one thing I would like to see more of right now: is a simplified form creation. That would be the most significant improvement I would like to see in their product."
"Table line item extraction is not possible through Quick Capture."
"The product's console version is old. It should also improve its forum."
"Kofax TotalAgility could improve the OTR engine. The page OTR engine is not accurate in predicting the data properly. If you provide many features which are good for business process management without an accurate OTR engine people will not want it."
"The Transformation Designer of KTA can be made better."
"Room for improvement would be better OCR functionality in terms of Arabic OCR. There should be better accuracy."
"UiPath could work towards more engagement on the community practice side. Some of our people are having a hard time understanding how to make sense of the data that UiPath puts out."
"I would like to see the setup improved. First we install it, then we log in with Orchestrator, and then we have to log in to the UiPath website. I would like all this to be merged into one setup."
"It should have better integration with Microsoft applications such as Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, etc. Power Automate is better for communicating with Microsoft Office applications. With UiPath, we have some difficulty communicating with the Microsoft Office applications. This is the only weakness that I have come across."
"The Academy classes could be improved. There should be a portal for use cases. There should be more business examples."
"I've struggled a lot with automating Citrix applications with UiPath."
"The product must improve its stability."
"The reporting task needs improvement. The reporting is boring."
"Extending the UiPath studio in terms of UI and functionality would improve this solution."
