Great reporting and customizations with good reliability
A lot of the improvement is not so much the product as it is how it's deployed; it's about mapping against what you need to improve your processes, whether it's the Kofax kind of shows in the IDP. You've got process orchestration, extraction and robotic process automation, process orchestration, and then mobile. Tracking what you need out of those, either all five together or one of those separated out, is usually what's more critical. They do add capabilities to the tool. However, from our perspective as a consulting organization, the real key is whether you are getting the data you need to improve your process or if your reporting is not providing you with the desired information you need to improve your processes. If there's any negative, it's just the different names, the branding names that the product's gone through. It's confusing.

A stable solution with a comparison feature that helps people to understand and visualize the impact of a particular task
UiPath Process Mining is as lightweight a tool as it is new. It's not able to handle a lot of logs in one go at high speed. The solution's speed is fairly good, but it should be further increased to make it more powerful to process large amounts of logs. Logs should be as much as possible. We have taken one year's and sometimes two years' logs to understand the behavior. We are not here solving small problems because a lot of money is invested. I have observed that handling a large amount of logs slows down the solution's performance. This area is improving because we are now observing a new version of UiPath Process Mining with improved speed. As a developer, I'll be happy to see that happening more quickly, and I am sure the solution is heading there.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"You can easily customize reporting to pull the fields that interest you."
"It provides the ability to design applications directly."
"The initial setup is straightforward."
"The reporting features of ProcessGold are great."
"The solution has a very good data analysis feature."
"The process graph stands out as my favorite feature of UiPath Process Mining. We can look at how exactly the processes are navigating, where they are stuck, the task time, etc."
"UIPath Process Mining is stable."
"I have found the most valuable features to be virtualization, multi-user, developer tools, API analytics, and workflow management."
"Process mapping tool is most valuable tool."
"We have deployed it for many processes, mainly for human resources, IT, marketing and also for sales. A new aspect is for procurement."
"The most valuable feature is the AI center for document understanding."

Cons

"If there's any negative, it's just the different names, the branding names that the product's gone through. It's confusing."
"It would be ideal if there were some standard forms that could be customized."
"The initial setup is complex and would be difficult to carry out without any training."
"We sometimes can have some issues with the scalability on the platform because we are sharing the licenses."
"In terms of what can be improved, what I've seen so far in most of the implementations is that the client's expectations towards the RPA solution and their road map for the solution are different. The road map should be very clear in terms of what should be done and why it has to be done."
"Process Mining still has to mature somewhat."
"It would be beneficial to improve the cost since it is quite expensive."
"Scalability receives a rating of five. There's significant room for enhancing process integration, data accuracy, and the general applicability of process mining."
"Process mining is something that we are doing, but I think it needs to be more mature. UiPath is still new to process mining. They are decent in SAP ERP when it comes to process mining. But compared to Oracle's E-Business Suite and all, they are still pretty new."
"I have observed that handling a large amount of logs slows down the solution's performance."
"Document Understanding can read up to a certain amount of accuracy. While I understand that they have already started working to improve that accuracy right now, I think the accuracy is still only around 85-90%. I would call that our main problem with UiPath currently."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"I found the pricing for UiPath Process Mining expensive when you compare it against the pricing for Power Automate."
"Licensing costs for UiPath are very reasonable, in my opinion."
"UiPath Process Mining is not very expensive, and that is where it beats Celonis."
"Licensing costs are on an annual basis."
"There is a standard licensing fee, which is charged for the products, but it is very module-driven and depends on your utilization or your team size. Compared to that of other providers, the cost is average or below average. So, from a pricing perspective, it's not very high."
"We are using the Community Version of UiPath and have only a single process automated."
"There is an annual subscription. It could be cheaper in my opinion, but it is still more affordable than other OEMs. This solution probably would not be ideal for people in the startup environment."
"UiPath Process Mining is better priced than Celonis, which we found to be on the costlier side."
