If everyone buys a Ford but no one drives it, people will feel that Ford isn't a good car. However, if everyone is driving a Honda, it may be a less well-known car, but everyone thinks it's great because they see it on the road.

UiPath Process Mining has different licensing types for users, developers, end-users, or designers. I don't have the figures, price-wise, but because my company is a UiPath partner, there's some discount offered when you buy in bulk. UiPath provides a good deal if you're a bulk user. UiPath Process Mining gives you value for money compared to some of its competitors in the market.

The setup is very good and explained well. People who are at least accustomed to this automation in UiPath, can read and go through the process without a problem.

There is an annual subscription. It could be cheaper in my opinion, but it is still more affordable than other OEMs. This solution probably would not be ideal for people in the startup environment. Tech support is included with the enterprise license.
Our licensing for UiPath Process Mining, and the various tools such as Studio Orchestrator, is all paid for on an annual basis. However, with the Document Understanding feature, the licensing is per page. So if we're going to read some 20,000-30,000 pages, that becomes one separate licensing stack.
There is a standard licensing fee, which is charged for the products, but it is very module-driven and depends on your utilization or your team size. Compared to that of other providers, the cost is average or below average. So, from a pricing perspective, it's not very high. For example, let's say you are developing a new process that has to be a fully automated process without any manual intervention. You will then need to buy a robot, a studio, which you have to use for development, and an Orchestrator to deploy that bot. You will also need one non-production license for your test environment. So, there will be three to four different products that you have to plug together and buy as a package, but each will have its own individual licensing cost. When you have to scale, you can scale as many licenses as you need to for development and for running the bots in production.
The license is around $40,000 yearly. Technically, that's the lease price. But UiPath told us to go through our distributor, and by doing so, we've saved at least 50 percent of the costs. So it's now around $24,000. That is pretty cheap compared to Blue Prism or any other vendor out there that offers a combination of the same features. You do need to purchase an additional license to get Insight licenses. We were the beta testers of UiPath's Insight application, which is purely on the analytics side. A lighter version of insights should be embedded into Orchestrator itself inside the standard offering of the UI without the extra license costs. So that way, we could track the number of processes, exceptions, success rate, and calculations in a single platform without buying any additional licenses.

UiPath doesn't clearly define the pricing models, which makes it very hard for customers. They have a wonderful product. If I could just find out how much it costs so I could buy it, it might be a lot nicer. Currently, I have approximately five opportunities to implement this solution and I can't even tell people for sure how much it's going to cost to run it.

I expect it to be a little bit lower, especially during this time because it is in a maturity curve so they are ramping up the product. I expect it to be a little lower than what it is.

Since it's a former client, they are generally UiPath resellers. They already have that connection with UiPath so they get a cheaper expert. But if we are looking for other deployments, they become really expensive because the ROI is difficult to attain for small scale businesses.
