A user-friendly and stable solution providing remote desktop sharing functionality to its users
TeamViewer Tensor provides user-based licensing now. Earlier, it was concurrent-based licensing. Pricing might be improved for TeamViewer Tensor. It is more costly than some of the corporate licenses other products offer. So, we can get the other alternate products at a lower cost than TeamViewer Tensor. The SSO feature of the solution may sometimes not function perfectly, as it is integrated with the domain. Enabling SSO means it is enabled for the entire organization's domain, which can cause login issues for other users, particularly if they have renewed their licenses and cannot log in with their credentials. Therefore, it would be better to provide users with a TeamViewer ID and password without disrupting others and the overall business. In summary, the SSO feature needs improvement.

Pros

"The most valuable feature of TeamViewer is its ease of use."
"The most valuable feature of TeamViewer is its ease of use and beneficial remote access."
"The most valuable feature of TeamViewer is user-friendliness."
"The most valuable features of TeamViewer are the ability for administrators to lock the remote systems, simple connections, and easy login access."
"The product and platform work well. That is why I have stay with them so long. The stability has typically been good."
"The dashboards they have are good."
"I find the mouse control and the ability to click for them very effective. I can move the mouse and click on buttons as if sitting at their computer. These are the basic features I use most often in the solution. There are tricker features that I don't use much because I don't need them frequently. Overall, it's a great tool for helping others with their computer issues without traveling to their location or another building."
"The most valuable feature of TeamViewer Tensor is the remote access."
"Remote desktop sharing is one valuable feature of the solution."
"This product is very simple to use and you can connect whether you are behind a firewall or not."

Cons

"The product's expensive nature is an area of concern where improvements are required."
"We have a consultant that helps us do the virtual aspects of TeamViewer."
"If were to I put myself in the seat of a small business owner, I would prefer TeamViewer to be more of a pay-once-and-own-it solution, rather than paying via a subscription model (although I am using the free version). Only annual subscriptions are available. It makes paying for it the first time seem a little daunting."
"The installation and the update agent could improve."
"The product can sometimes crash."
"They could give more information about using certain kinds of applications for secure transactions, such as secure file transfers."
"The performance could always be better."
"If they could figure out a little better solution for the iOS stuff other than just a screen share, even though it's an Apple thing, and Apple doesn't like to give up control of their devices. If they ever got to that point, and I could manipulate an iPad or iPhone, that would be awesome. Since we have a bunch of iPad users who are struggling with doing different things, it would be nice to be able to just jump on and actually show them, "Here, do this, this, and this." Similar to what we do with the laptops, e.g. for training."
"Having the ability to create subgroups and delegate permissions to the group members would be a helpful addition."
"The SSO feature of the solution may sometimes not function perfectly…Pricing might be improved for TeamViewer Tensor."
"The solution could include more AI (Artificial Intelligence)."
