Continuous skills tracking has transformed team development and now drives data-based decisions
In my opinion, the best features Pluralsight offers are the Skill IQ assessments, which are probably what I would fight hardest to keep if someone tried to take the platform away. Being able to say to a manager, 'Here is exactly where your team's skills are. Here is the data,' changes the conversation from opinion to fact. That is powerful. The hands-on labs and the new AI sandbox are also genuinely impressive. A developer can spin up a real environment and actually practice what they just learned without any risk to production systems. That is not something every platform offers. The Iris AI assistant is newer, but it has been well-received. It helps learners when they get stuck rather than just leaving them to figure it out alone. It is having a tutor available at midnight when you are grinding through a course. Pluralsight has positively impacted my organization by tracking certification completions before and after adoption. In the year before, we had maybe eight certifications across the whole tech team. In the first year after rolling out Pluralsight, we had 31. That is a number I can put in front of leadership and they understand it immediately.

I can provide hands-on experience to my customers. Image updates (made in US DC) are not automatically copied to other DCs it seems.
Singapore DC doesn't support Hypervisor 16G-8C. If you need your image deployed in Asia (this is decided by the time zone in which the image is being used), well it isn’t. It will be deployed in the US DataCenter, which means very high latency when using the image. If you insist the image is deployed on a higher spec hardware (Hypervisor 24G), you need to negotiate with ReadyTech, otherwise a higher cost is incurred. Image updates (made in US DC) are not automatically copied to other DCs it seems. The first time a deployment in the Singapore DC is requested after an image update, the ReadyTech staff have to copy the image from the US DC to the Singapore DC before the the image can be deployed. Because of the extra time needed for the copy, this means the image is not deployed in time to be used as planned. Both result in a bad experience for our customers using the image.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We are happy with the tool's skill assessment. It helps with skill enhancement, competency, and company development."
"The value is good because Pluralsight provides a common platform for all learning materials and is customizable to organizations' needs."
"We find the courses with high ratings and popularity to be most valuable. If the content is applicable, we encourage team members to use it. Regarding skill assessment, I haven't used that feature much, but we've done a few trainings with evaluations, which have been helpful for learning."
"The fact that I could pause the training and restart another day was convenient."
"The entire curriculum needs to be systematically organized into sections, allowing for a seamless resumption of learning."
"Pluralsight's Forrester Wave recognition this year felt well-deserved from where I sit, as it is the strongest tech skills platform I have worked with, and I have seen a few."
"The UI is user-friendly."
"Customer Service: Good response to issues encountered so far."
"Customer service is excellent, with a very responsive 24/7 team that addressed most issues."

Cons

"Improving the platform's ability to accommodate user queries would be beneficial for further enhancement."
"The course quality was not very good for the information systems auditor and risk manager courses."
"The product needs to become mobile-based. The number of courses is less compared to Udemy and Coursera."
"Pluralsight can be improved because the content can feel uneven in places."
"I think the assessments in Pluralsight are already good, but it would be helpful if there were explanations for incomplete questions or for which we couldn't provide a proper answer."
"The navigation could be improved to be more user-friendly."
"The website is not up to date."
"Since my trust in ReadyTech tech team has not recovered, this is why my overall note is 4/10."
"The participants in India suffered from very bad latency."

Pricing and Cost Advice
