A seamless all-in-one solution
This solution is seamless. From one platform, we can do just about anything. With other solutions, you'll need a separate platform for data ingestion, manipulation, etc. Then you'll need another tool for reporting. Palantir Gotham literally does it all. It generates a report regardless of the format. It can seamlessly generate it after the data has been collected.

Long-term integration has supported real-time data exchange and simplified adapter-based workflows
The challenges I have faced with TIBCO BusinessWorks mostly relate to financial applications that do not come with those adapters, so that requires custom coding. The features currently in TIBCO BusinessWorks are good enough, but going forward, as we are doing a lot of AI-based integrations, I would like to see TIBCO come up with more prompt-driven configurations rather than people having to understand deep technology. AI-driven features in TIBCO BusinessWorks would be beneficial, so that our business tech BA can do the development rather than needing programmers. More artificial intelligence functionality would help so people do not have to code.

Pros

"This solution is seamless; from one platform, we can do just about anything."
"This solution is seamless. From one platform, we can do just about anything."
"The most valuable feature is the integration."
"The OSGI console is available to debug different issues and get low level informations on the applications development, like bundle, dependencies, etc."
"The high availability, tolerance, and load balancing features are top-notch, and its scalability features are also pretty cool."
"It is a seamless and sophisticated tool."
"The most valuable feature is the low-code platform."
"It is a seamless and sophisticated tool, we can operate everything and scale up and down the instances, and it is also very user-friendly with a good overall experience."
"The most valuable features are the extensive capabilities of adapters and the capabilities in the development environment."
"It is user friendly, it's not complex."

Cons

"I think there should be less coding involved. Currently, using it involves a tremendous amount of coding."
"I think there should be less coding involved. Currently, using it involves a tremendous amount of coding."
"Pricing is not one of its strengths. Using Tibco BusinessWorks implies adopting a non-trivial set of products (Hawk, Rendez-vous, EMS in most cases), and previous cost models enabled scalability on installation and deployment."
"Though it is a stable product, if we have an issue with the product, it gets difficult, and it gets really difficult to explain the issue to the support team. Also, it takes a long time to get resolved."
"Could be more user friendly in the development area."
"Overall, TIBCO BusinessWorks has not evolved properly over time, and right now, if you compare it to other solutions that have evolved drastically, TIBCO BusinessWorks will pale in comparison; it's an outdated product."
"The communication protocols could be improved."
"The cost has room for improvement."
"TIBCO BusinessWorks needs to improve its digital IDs and data processing capabilities. It will benefit small and medium businesses."
"Performance and latency could be enhanced. Additionally, having signaling stack support would be beneficial."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"The payments made for service are the only addition to the standard licensing fees that we pay for the solution."
"TIBCO BusinessWorks is expensive."
"I would rate the solution's pricing a three out of ten."
"TIBCO BusinessWorks is a very expensive solution."
"My understanding is that the licensing is very costly."
"I don't have the prices of the products, but I know that TIBCO is not a cheap solution. I think that this solution is more suitable for large companies because I don't think that small- or medium-sized companies would have the money for this solution. WSO2 has the community version for free, so many of the smaller companies can use it. I'm not sure what the prices are for support, though, so I suppose the support for WSO2 is not cheap either."
"It is a bit expensive for medium-sized companies. If you are migrating from the current version to the container-supported version, it is quite expensive. The existing licensing will not work because the product platform itself is different."
"Licensing scheme is too rigid"
