Integration with CRM and third-party systems significantly boosts campaign management
The native integration could be improved, as Oracle Eloqua has decommissioned it. Manual uploads require changing the data priority order to top priority. Sometimes form capturing data fails, and campaign response issues occur. The pricing of Oracle Eloqua is quite high as it is an Oracle product. Compared to other marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Pardot, the price point is higher. The technical support is rated at eight because it can be difficult to get in touch with them after working hours. Support is only available during business hours, so if assistance is needed outside of the nine-to-five window, users must wait until the next day.

Integration challenges impact workflow efficiency
The features of Salesforce Marketing Cloud that I have found most valuable are the Journey Builder and Flow. These capabilities are valuable because they make managing automation easy. Automating customer journeys saves time when scheduling content through every channel, and we can set the automation in advance when planning marketing content. The AI-powered tools such as Salesforce Datorama and Einstein save time and have an impact on marketing strategy decisions for my customers. I have noticed a positive impact from Salesforce Marketing Cloud through customer feedback. For example, a customer mentioned after project completion that it had a significant impact on their marketing team by eliminating the need to hire additional staff for marketing content and planning.

Integrates well with master data but user experience and integration need improvement
Predictive Analytics in SAP Marketing Cloud is effective, but it requires two essential elements. The data should be correct and sufficient enough to run Predictive Analytics, and the right algorithms need to be included in the marketing decision-making process. In Predictive Analytics, certain algorithms can be used, but it has limited use because it does not cater to the complete business needs of the client. The solution is easy to customize, but it requires having the right data model attached to the dashboard. If the data model is correct, the data on the dashboard can be manipulated very easily. However, if the data model is incorrect and does not bring in the right elements of KPIs and dashboards, upgrading the data model becomes a challenging exercise. SAP's user interface from a user story point of view rates six to seven out of ten. The user experience could be improved, but in terms of flexibility, it functions adequately when data is available. Without available data, none of the dashboards can function.

Cons

"There are some things where improvement is needed. For me, it would be great if they integrated a tool like AI configuration capabilities within Eloqua itself."
"One improvement I would suggest for Oracle Eloqua is establishing data modeling capabilities where you can link various custom data objects to create multiple tables together, allowing access to data through SQL queries for better manipulation."
"Crashes can occur due to integration with different systems, including third-party tools such as Zapier and SixSense."
"The solution does not have a good database architecture."

"The main action I want to do in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is to export data into Excel and use it. My company may have that feature locked down, or if the Excel data exporting function still isn't available in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, that's the feature I want."
"In the SMS area, it is not up to the mark, compared to what has been developed for email."
"Integration with third-party solutions is challenging with SAP Marketing Cloud."
