No other product will give you the same visibility and data classification functions as this tool
Forcepoint enables you to clarify aspects of your data, including which data to protect for how long, what priority to assign to the data and the destinations. It's a comprehensive, dedicated solution. The interface is user-friendly and easy to manage. No other product will give you the same visibility and data classification functions as this tool. You install the agent to your endpoint, and the end user needs to label the data as confidential, private, internal, etc. After you label the document, you can confirm the confidentiality and go to the DLP to make a new policy to block the specified destination addresses at the Forcepoint level, such as network, email, RDP, etc. Forcepoint uses machine learning and AI file or database fingerprinting. This can give you an early chance to prevent incidents fast. File fingerprinting gives you 100 percent accurate DLP results.

Pros

"I like the SaaS solution they're offering now a little bit more. It's a new product but it's easy to install and configure."
"The real-time analytics feature is helpful. It alerts within seconds and promptly informs management of any potential security issues."
"The solution is easy to manage."
"The solution’s content classification is the best."
"The Optical Character Recognition (OCR) functionality is another helpful feature, especially for unstructured data. Being able to discover sensitive data in an unstructured format is the most beneficial element of the solution."
"It's fast and it prepares loss reports."
"The most valuable feature is the endpoint DLP. It's specific to copying to the USB or copying to the internal storage in our office."
"The most valuable feature of SearchInform DLP is the analytics tool."

Cons

"There's zero Forcepoint presence in West Africa. Customers typically like having these things close to them. It would help if they had a presence here. Right now, Forcepoint West Africa has been administered from South Africa. Because of this, customers can't access premium support in our region."
"You have to monitor the solution all the time."
"The policy update size and agent size could be improved. We would also like to have a proper solution for Linux OS which Forcepoint does not offer."
"The initial setup is a bit complex. You will need help from the peer support team in the configuration."
"Everything can be improved and maybe there is a way to improve the user experience through the interface."
"The price could be reduced to be more cost, effective."
"I am really impressed by the interface and management console but the requirements are very high and the response time is too slow."
"There is no support for the Bangla (Bengali) language, so we cannot use the Forcepoint technology for Bangla documents."
"There is room for improvement in terms of implementing a more solid development process, aligning with modern product standards, and upgrading the quality assurance procedures."
