Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The security-related tools are excellent; these features allow us to secure devices, lock them down, and ensure compliance.""The synchronization of Intune with other Microsoft solutions is a valuable feature.""We have one MDM that works with Windows, iOS, and Android.""The most valuable feature of Intune is the central dashboard for compliance and policy management.""Configuration profiles, remediation, scripts, and auto-pilot features are very good.""The performance of Microsoft Intune is good.""While I don't think you can ever have full visibility and control, Intune certainly allows us to see the applications being used and tells us if things like Windows patches aren't applied to machines. It does a good job. That visibility makes life a little easier.""Autopilot is the most valuable feature."

More Microsoft Intune Pros →

"The MAM applications of the product are great.""A valuable feature of Citrix Endpoint Management is that it's stable. The stability is not a challenge among the move to the cloud.""ShareFile, in particular, is valuable with its ease of sharing, and the best category security that is in the hands of users.""The product is capable of acting in many different ways to help secure architecture.""We have seen improvements in compliance management on the devices."

More Citrix Endpoint Management Pros →

"The remote management and location capabilities are good.""The initial setup is easy and the deployment doesn't take too long.""Sometimes, we face an issue and raise a ticket. The technical support team is fantastic and resolves the issue.""The most valuable feature of VMware Workspace ONE is its reliability.""Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.""The solution has very good documentation.""The most valuable feature is policy-driven control of the devices.""The bigger vendors like VMware, Insight, and MobileIron can assign engineers to customers. You can work with them to develop the right competency to use the product."

Cons
"The solution can have some compliance problems in general and the end-point user can bypass easily the company policies in Intune.""The solution could improve by having better integration with Apple.""There needs to be more support for Mac operating systems.""The product needs to upgrade itself when the server is overloaded.""What would make this product better is adding more security policies and features in the next upgrade.""It would really be helpful to have the option to manage server operating systems as well, like Windows Server, at least. That way, we could scrap the use of SCCM, which requires a lot of on-premises infrastructure.""The installation is very easy. However, to be able to configure it you will need special knowledge, such as training or self-studies to have a proper level of security. There are many settings one has to understand before being able to implement Microsoft Intune.""It would be helpful if there was proactive remediation."

More Microsoft Intune Cons →

"Support for inventory management of Apple devices should be added.""Citrix needs to improve the architecture. They also need to strengthen the application integration. They keep referring to some things to be required as security, and they keep selling the next level and on-premise separately. They should give the customer the opportunity to decide whether they want to use the next level on-premise or on-cloud, but they should not charge additional fees if the customer wants to deploy the next level on-premise because the customer is already being charged as the end user. They should allow next level on-premise optimization without any additional charges.""Requires integrating with ABM before enabling some of the features.""The tool’s battery usage was high."

More Citrix Endpoint Management Cons →

"AirWatch doesn't seem to empower IT admins to try new things or get creative with implementations.""When it comes to deployment and maintaining security, there should be an integrated console where you have a singular view of all of the products from the same OEM.""The bigger vendors like VMware, Insight, and MobileIron can assign engineers to customers. You can work with them to develop the right competency to use the product.""They need a more flexible pricing model.""There could be ease of integration within the environment. I didn't have any issues when using it, but the integration part was a bit difficult for the other team.""We'd like the customization to be better.""Patching, fixing, and training for VMware Workspace ONE are areas that need to be improved.""There are some bugs that our team needs to work around. It required some API integration required because visitor integration was not there. For example, we are currently working on a tunnel issue, and VMware doesn't have this solution."

Pricing and Cost Advice

    Information Not Available
  • "You should take out a dedicated license agreement of your MDM fleet and invest heavily in innovating in this space."

  • "I have no opinion about the pricing of the product."
  • "The pricing and licensing are affordable. They are not too high."

  • "If you purchase it for one year, it is very expensive. If you get it for three years or up to five years, then you can bargain a better price."

    Reviews from Real Users

Microsoft Intune stands out among its competitors for a number of reasons. Two major ones are its ability to secure all devices under its management and the flexibility that the solution offers its users.

A computing services manager notes, "Its security is most valuable. It gives us a way to secure devices, not only those that are steady. We do have a few tablets and other devices, and it is a way for us to secure these devices and manage them. We know they're out there and what's their status. We can manage their life cycle and verify that they're updated properly."

The head of IT engineering at a financial services company writes, "The one feature we find most useful is the Mobile Application Manager. There are two types: we have the complete MDM and the Mobile Application Manager (MAM). We don't give our users phones, it is their own personal phone, and we need to allow them to have access to the company details on their phone. We need to create a balance between their own personal data and the company data. We deploy the Mobile Application Manager for them so that we won't be able to interfere with their own personal data."

XenMobile is a comprehensive solution to manage mobile apps, data and devices, available both on-premises and in the cloud. Users have single-click access to all of their apps from a unified corporate app store and IT can easily configure, secure and support mobile devices. With XenMobile technology, IT can meet their compliance and control needs while giving users the freedom to experience work and life their way.

    Reviews from Real Users

Below is some feedback from our PeerSpot users who are currently using the solution:

PeerSpot user Patrick B., Cybersecurity Architect at a tech services company, says, "Its UI is extremely easy to use whether you're an advanced user or a novice user. When I first opened it up and had to learn the product, I was easily a novice. By the end of the third month, I was digging into the backend of the system and using it as a highly advanced user to accomplish what I needed to accomplish, and I was able to do it through the UI mostly."

Roshan T., Partner Manager North America at a tech company, mentions how satisfied he is with the product, saying, "You can put all your applications on a mobile device, be it a phone or tablet. It is secure and easy to use. Because it is centrally managed, you don't have to do any configuration on the phone. I just got the phone and connected to the central applications. I just downloaded one thing and everything got rolled out. Email, calendar, and other things were deployed centrally. If you don't have AirWatch, you have to configure your phone manually. For example, you need to deploy and configure your email manually and then synchronize everything. It is much simpler when a mobile device is centrally managed."
