Have streamlined policy configuration and improved network adaptability with some need for better reporting and observability
I may not be that equipped now, but there are certainly growth areas for them, especially around how they provide reporting and monitoring and then flexibility of combining it with an observability part attached to it. This would remove the need to integrate another specialist tool for observability or monitoring part. They would certainly employ AI, especially agentic AI. I think that should be already part of their roadmap as a transversal. But certainly, the kind of integrations they offer today, in the future, I would think they would add more and more feature sets, especially around where they remove the dependency of having specialist solutions on a typical monitoring side. I think it's a fair price. It's positioned very well in the market. It's not low or very high. In the future, I hope that with more services being bundled as part of the solution on the cloud side, they should reduce the price being, provide bundle service. I think in the future they will come up with reduced pricing, more competitive pricing. But today it's fair. It's not very low or very high.

You can add multiple features on a single agent, but it's an expensive product, and its marketing approach should be more aggressive
Forcepoint ZTNA isn't well-known in the market. Right now, it's a novice, so an area for improvement in it is making the product known. Forcepoint should create more awareness about Forcepoint ZTNA because a distributor like me still needs to promote it more to customers. Forcepoint has to capitalize on, focus on, or highlight its overall approaches to Forcepoint ZTNA marketing, such as SASE or SSE, to sell the whole bundle rather than as a standalone product. Today, most customers move to the cloud, so the whole SSE or SASE approach makes better sense. Forcepoint needs to look at the whole picture. I suggest being more aggressive in marketing to boost customer awareness of Forcepoint ZTNA.

Pros

"I would definitely recommend Cato Networks to other users."
"Cato offers all the functionality found in other solution. The life cycle management is always very stable."

"It is a stable solution...it is a scalable solution."
"The WAN aggregation feature is the most valuable."
"It's a cloud-based solution that integrates well with everything."
"The scalability is quite good."
"The visibility control and security aspects are amazing."
"What I like about Forcepoint ZTNA is that you could use it as a starting point because you have one agent that allows you to add more features. Other technologies require one agent per solution, so you'll end up with multiple agents."

Cons

"There isn't much to improve as we have a close relationship with them, providing information for research and development."
"They should add more sophisticated security features. It should also be integrated into the cloud."
"The tool should improve its interface."
"The product must evolve into the endpoint domain."
"They provide very good technical support, but their professional services are very expensive."
"The different languages in the user interface should be enhanced."
"Cato Networks security could be better."
"The product's technical support could be more responsive."
"Forcepoint ZTNA isn't well-known in the market. Right now, it's a novice, so an area for improvement in it is making the product known. Forcepoint should create more awareness about Forcepoint ZTNA because a distributor like me still needs to promote it more to customers."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I'd rate Cato SASE Cloud Platform's pricing as about five or six out of ten. It's not the cheapest solution, but it is cheaper than Palo Alto and even VeloCloud. We've been working with them for a while and have significant discounts. Our licensing costs vary because we keep adding sites, but it's about 280 per month per site. This includes additional features beyond the base product, starting at around 200."
"You pay yearly based on the speed of your network. If you increase the speed of your network, you increase the cost for your throughput. It is by bandwidth for the most part and then licenses for VPN. There is some per-seat licensing for VPN access, but the majority of it is minimal. It is like $30 a year per client. The rest is based on how much bandwidth you'll use. You pay for that upfront for the year, and if you have to increase it, you increase it, and then they let you send more data through. There are no additional costs in addition to the standard licensing fees."
"If you compare with VeloCloud, the price is the same or even cheaper."
"The pricing of the solution depends upon the bandwidth required for different branches"
"Cato Networks seems more expensive than Cisco Meraki."
"The pricing of this solution depends on what you need. It is based on bandwidth."
"The solution has reasonable pricing. It has a yearly subscription. The pricing depends on the permit to code. Sometimes, we need to increase the permit, and the cost will automatically change. There's no fixed cost. Unless we request additional modules such as DNS security, ELP, and decent features, there will be no additional cost."
"The product is very competitively priced, and that's compelling. They don't charge the customer based on the operational cost like other brands such as Palo Alto. Cato has its own fully-fledged cloud, with their own data centers, equipment, and so on, which is an advantage. I rate the solution five out of five for affordability."
"Ninety percent of the feedback I received from company partners is that Forcepoint ZTNA is an expensive product."
