Really good in terms of content delivery and network bandwidth optimization
Using Adaptiva is really straightforward. Users need to have some end-user computing and networking knowledge to use the solution. The project or implementation team we worked with had good technical knowledge. I really liked the solution's performance. Adaptiva helped us with network bandwidth optimization and content delivery. Overall, I rate the solution eight and a half out of ten.

Patch management process becomes more efficient and cost-effective while significantly improving vulnerability remediation rates
Regarding improvements in Qualys Patch Management, I did not quite understand the downsides they were expecting. Initially, I was confused about where to find and how to use the available features. It was challenging to identify the options we could employ and why we were using them. However, once I gained hands-on experience, I was able to identify the tool's particular features, making it easier for us to use it. The initial phase had some difficulty with the user interface. I would them to improve user training. They have used many colors, which can be confusing, so they should use specific colors for specific options. For critical options, they could make them red, green for medium, and blue for less significant options. This would make it easier for a beginner to recognize which buttons are dangerous to click. Such adjustments can help new users learn the solution faster.

"Qualys Patch Management's most valuable feature is its responsiveness."

"Qualys Patch Management provides a single source of truth for assets and vulnerabilities that require assessment, prioritization, and remediation."
"Qualys Patch Management provides a single source of truth for assessing, prioritizing, and remediating assets and vulnerabilities, with everything integrated in one dashboard, allowing us to easily manage our tasks and reduce costs."

Cons

"The availability of Qualys Patch Management needs to be improved."
"Qualys Patch Management's pricing could be more competitive, as it presents a significant obstacle for many companies who find it unaffordable."
"They should focus on increasing the list of supported patches. New software or data is continuously released, and it would be beneficial if patches were updated in the knowledge base more quickly."
"Downloading extensive vulnerability reports, especially those with millions of entries, is time-consuming."
"There is room for improvement in the inclusion of more patches. Not all patches are available on Qualys, so they need to get licenses for other patches as well."

"The patch status and patch completion information should be improved."
"I find the stability of Qualys Patch Management to be inconsistent; sometimes it works fine, while other times when I try to show a colleague something quickly, it takes considerable time to respond."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"The pricing is reasonable and competitive. We get many more features at the same price compared to other solutions such as Microsoft SCCM. It is worth the money considering the services and features it has. Their support team is also awesome."
"The pricing is fair and within our budget."
"Compared to other tools, the price of Qualys Patch Management is reasonable."
"Qualys Patch Management's pricing could be more competitive, as it presents a significant obstacle for many companies who find it unaffordable."
"I'm unaware of Qualys' exact price, but it's more expensive than Nessus. With technological products, you need to pay to get the best."
"The licensing cost is more than 2,000 for the whole Americas region"
"From what I have heard, Qualys Patch Management is pricey, which is a main barrier to entry. Another aspect that I do not like about Qualys is that they do not add new patch management functionalities to the existing package. It is a separate SKU, so you have to pay more money."
"Its price is competitive in the market. Compared to other solutions like Rapid7, Qualys offers a favorable price point and robust features."
