"Universal Restore is valuable to us."
"The main reasons that our customers like Acronis are that it is very strong and easy to use."
"The main reason we went with Acronis Cyber Protect is because it provides a virtual machine backup feature."
"I have not used other backup solutions to compare how well the features work but I have found Acronis Backup to be user-friendly, overall easy to use, and performance is good."
"Acronis has many features, which are really very interesting, when it comes to data backup and recovery, especially disaster recovery (DR)."
"From my perspective, the most valuable features in Acronis Cyber Protect include ransomware protection and antivirus. These features not only add significant value but also play a crucial role in closing deals. When selling backup for Microsoft 365, these security features, like ransomware protection and antivirus, serve as a starting point to offer backup and protection."
"The most valuable feature is the fact that you can archive backups quite easily and minimize the amount of space you're using."
"The administration is pretty flexible in terms of defining a multi-tenant type of setup."
"I feel that it is a good product."
"Technical support for this solution is very good."
"The most valuable feature is NetWorker's integration with the data domain that transfers the data directly into the Dell appliance, so the data doesn't need to pass through the network. NetWorker acts like a pipe, allowing the data to flow directly from the database or the VMware environment to the data domain."
"The best feature is the DR replication for us."
"The initial setup is simple."
"The solution has a longer lifespan."
"The software implementation takes about 30 minutes."
"Dell EMC NetWorker integrates well with our domain and the performance is quite good on-premise. We receive approximately 1 terabyte within one hour."
"Because Acronis Backup is an on-premises solution, there is extra overhead. It's harder to manage, and there's no real remote access. You have to physically log in to the machine to manage it. The reporting feature works fine, and you will be able to send out reports. However, that is where it stops. The deployment could be improved and could be through a network chain. If we need to deploy two machines that are not connected to the internet but connected to two different networks, it would be great to have a machine with dual mix that has access to the backup server and to those machines. It would be like a relay that you can install on the machine with a two-mix, and that machine can then connect to your backup server and to the other machines. You should be able to see the other machines on that network and be able to deploy to it and push jobs to it."
"We would always support better pricing."
"It would be better if they made it easier to obtain images for laptops and desktops. It isn't easy right now to have many different types of desktop computers. This is because Microsoft is changing a lot of things in Windows 10."
"I would like to have more cybersecurity integration to properly round up the product and its offering. In terms of cybersecurity, if the offerings can be more versatile so that it is not just a backup solution, it would be great. Some addition to cybersecurity would really be helpful so that it becomes a kind of a suite of products. Backup and recovery form a part of the broader security strategy. Its integration with other cybersecurity solutions would provide proper visibility to not just your cybersecurity dashboard but also to all of your backups. You would have a pretty good view of the entire security landscape that you are managing."
"Their support process can be quite lengthy...This is an area that needs improvement."
"We needed to have help from the vendor for implementation. The vendor used two personnel. We have system administrators and they do the server backups themself."
"It would be nice to have it on the cloud platform without using third-party equipment."
"They've got an agent to back up Microsoft SQL, to our Office 365, but there is not an agent to back up my SQL databases."
"It could be more user-friendly."
"We are able to do direct backups, but analyzing the logs is not straightforward."
"While upgrading to a new version, we encounter challenges related to specific algorithms or code regulations."
"The price could be cheaper."
"The software also isn't user-friendly like Convault or Rubrik. The solution errors and management aren't so good in comparison."
"The solution could improve by having more integration."
"The user interface is hard to use, it should be simplified. There are a lot of web-based management interfaces which they should consider."
"The data storage capabilities should be improved."
