If I had to say something positive, one advantage for Red Hat Learning Subscription would be that it is called RHLS. It is an official online platform where they offer full access to the Red Hat course catalog. It has hands-on labs. It has certification exam vouchers, both instructor-led training, and guided learning paths. It helps novice customers start a career in Red Hat. The hands-on lab environment helps with the learning experience. For a simple account, if I want to study Red Hat basic commands, we have a Red Hat certified administrator. Many people, especially Windows users, may not know how to edit a VI editor. You will get a virtualized environment server to have hands-on experience. I would agree that it helps with career development. For a manager, if I have a team, it is not just about making them work. We have to think about their career development. They will not remain in the company for long without growth. Companies benefit from growing their employees. For training materials, the quality is high, crafted by direct RHCL instructors.

Red Hat Learning Subscription offers a list of courses with labs available. They provide 90 days and one-month subscription options. Accordingly, I can access video classes, recorded classrooms, materials, and lab setup for hands-on learning. The biggest advantage of Red Hat Learning Subscription is the lab facility and the materials are also good. I appreciate the hands-on lab environment with Red Hat lab environment in their cloud. In the learning portal, I can track how many courses I attended, what my progress is, and how many certificates I have taken. Red Hat Learning Subscription helps with my career development. This learning portal is very good for learning about Red Hat products. Whatever new things are coming, I can access this portal and learn, spend my time in practice and learning. Red Hat Learning Subscription has separate material for the labs and separate material for the entire course. There is guided instruction for the lab as well. If I want only the practice for the lab, I can go directly to the lab material and do not need to look at the entire documents about the course.

I was dealing with the product for training subscriptions for approximately a month or so. Red Hat Learning Subscription is very good as it allows you to do self-paced training, but there is also online training or on-demand training. You have on-demand training and other types of training such as virtual classroom. They are all of a high standard and the quality of education is very good. I have been using the hands-on lab environment when dealing with Red Hat Learning Subscription. The labs are good, and I did not experience any problems or things not working as expected. I did not really require any assistance to fix things to work further with it. It is of high quality and standard. Role-based training in the sense of a whole stack of training to reach a certain point in relation to my assessment of this aspect can work well. If you don't have as much experience or exposure, in certain aspects it will probably work better if you are just more selective as to what you want. You can choose your own path. I tracked my progress with the skill assessments online before doing the training for Red Hat Learning Subscription. I did some of those as well. It is more a general guidance type of thing. It gives a fairish view of where you are at. I agree that it was useful for my career development, as it gives you a view of where your shortcomings are and then you can plan accordingly as to which courses you need to take. Definitely, the learning paths helped me utilize Red Hat technologies more effectively. I wouldn't say you know everything and obviously one forgets, so you have to practice and there is some discipline you have to apply towards learning these technologies. The quality is good, so you learn the technologies and have the opportunity to learn the technologies very well, but you still have to put in the effort.
