It's more like having your local PC or laptop on the cloud. You can spin up your virtual servers or virtual machines on the cloud, eliminating the need to purchase physical hardware. You still need a laptop to access the virtual server, but the virtual server on the cloud isn’t tied to a specific brand like a local PC.

Cloud services are not platform-dependent, so you can deploy various versions of Windows, such as Windows 2016, 2019, and the latest versions, within a few minutes. In contrast, deploying these operating systems locally might require a dedicated network. They can be up and running on the cloud in a few minutes.
