I cannot recall using this exact feature of GoAnywhere MFT, but my colleagues might have used them, and I have never received any complaints about any feature of this kind. There is very minimal maintenance for GoAnywhere MFT from our side, mostly checking the logs, updating the credentials, and adjusting the workflows whenever anything changes. Nothing extraordinary is required for maintenance. I have not done this with GoAnywhere MFT, but my colleagues have done it quite a few times, two or three times, and I have never heard any complaints about it from them. I would rate this product an 8 out of 10.
My advice for others considering GoAnywhere MFT is that it is very powerful, and they should utilize the training provided by the vendors to maximize the use of the software. I recommend leveraging its automation features early and setting up clear monitoring and alerts so that issues can be quickly detected. Additionally, it is essential to plan the workflows and security requirements before the purchase or implementation of this product. I would rate my experience with GoAnywhere MFT as an eight out of ten.

Sometimes I've seen my colleague using the GoFast feature, and it really helps accelerate the transfer of files. GoFast is designed to support faster protocols such as SFTP and FTP. I have heard that it is robust, allowing for sharing a large number of files securely using TLS.Honestly, we don't have any disadvantages with GoAnywhere MFT at this point. Everything is going well, but in the future, we may not know what could happen. The support team should also fix issues quickly.GoAnywhere MFT is stable, but once a month or sometimes it feels sluggish, possibly due to our network. We can't say for sure since we always check network connectivity and cloud availability, but the sluggishness is minimal at only about one to two percent at times.I gave GoAnywhere MFT an overall rating of nine out of ten.

I do not know much about the pricing for GoAnywhere MFT, but I have heard from my colleague that the pricing is also somewhat high compared to other products. I think pricing could be a little lower so that small enterprises working in the field can afford it and use it. It should be more cost-effective so that all can benefit from the product.I did not use the connectors that GoAnywhere MFT includes in the solution, so I am not able to comment much about them. I use the Agents for automation, workflows, and systems with GoAnywhere MFT. I have tried using the Secure Forms feature of GoAnywhere MFT, which allows end users to upload files. It is also a way of collecting data or uploading files to a user or partner and then automating the workflow. Regarding the time it took me to deploy GoAnywhere MFT for the first time, there are steps involved in deployment, so I do not remember the overall time. I would rate this review an 8 out of 10.
I have deployed GoAnywhere MFT Agents on remote servers to push and pull files securely. Using the agents is a great way to extend GoAnywhere MFT capability to branch offices and partner systems without exposing the main server. I use Secure Forms with GoAnywhere MFT for collecting sensitive data from clients, such as KYC documents or onboarding forms. These Secure Forms have helped my business by being customizable and encrypted, which helps us avoid insecure emails and attachments. I have not yet integrated the GoFast feature to accelerate data transmission with our environment, but I am expecting to in the future. Between seven to eight people use GoAnywhere MFT. Maintenance such as updates or patching does not fall under our team responsibilities. I can recommend this product to different users and teams as it supports PING, SFTP, and HTTP protocols, which are more secure and easy to use. I gave this product a rating of nine.

We do not use the secure forms in GoAnywhere MFT. I can recommend GoAnywhere MFT to other users. Previously we used an SFTP solution because it is specifically built for SFTP file transfer. Now with this software, it provides connectivity with the cloud, automation, and scripting capabilities. We can say it is the best solution for cloud security and the SOC analysts that we usually work with. From the improvement perspective, I can say that for the configuration and automation part, my end team was using GoAnywhere MFT for all the vulnerability management and patches. From our team perspective, we use this for file transfer. It was a good experience with this software because it has multiple use cases. My team is using this software, probably because someone recommended it or they found this software through a recommendation from senior members. It is a good solution. We have a base of the software that is required for security, including Splunk and CrowdStrike. I can say it is the best one in the market. On my side, we use the SOPs that were made by our own team. We did not go to the main actual product website that they have as the documented website because we have a specific use case and we know how to use GoAnywhere MFT, and all the knowledge transfer is conducted from team member to team member. The documentation is clear, similar to the AWS documentation that I use. I can say it is clear and easy to understand. My overall rating for this product is 9 out of 10.
I do not use the connectors for services such as Salesforce, SharePoint, Dynamics, or any other services. I do not use GoAnywhere Agents. I have not considered GoAnywhere MFT for API and integrations yet. I highly recommend GoAnywhere MFT to other users. I will share about GoAnywhere MFT features; most of my teammates have been struggling to find a centralized dashboard for file transferring, which is the main thing we want, along with the time savings and reliability it provides. I rate GoAnywhere MFT a nine out of ten.

We do not use those connectors right now in GoAnywhere MFT. Our processes are very specific to our interface workflows. Currently, we're not using it for workflow-type applications, although it might be something we can explore down the line. We do not use the Agents or Secure Forms. Regarding data acceleration, we don't use GoFast either. We're using it for very specific tasks, and if they explained options for utilizing it for other purposes, I would be open to exploring it. I would indeed like to see better advanced documentation in GoAnywhere MFT. I would rate GoAnywhere MFT overall as an eight out of ten. It's a great product and could easily reach a ten if it improved certain features.
I would recommend this solution to other users because it's very easy to use and many companies are using this product nowadays. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.
I would highly recommend GoAnywhere MFT to other users because it is excellent, reliable, and offers great performance as a secure file transfer platform with powerful automations. I would rate this solution 10 out of 10.
I would rate GoAnywhere MFT a nine out of ten because it's quite good and easy to learn. If someone in IT is picking it up, they can typically master it within 10 to 20 days, so that's not a concern. The documentation is also well-written, which makes the learning process much simpler.

One of the reasons I retired was because of GoAnywhere MFT. The software itself was fine. Nearly every day, I was chasing down certificate owners and determining who was responsible for them. Nine times out of ten, they were no longer with the company, and the remaining staff didn't know anything about it or what to do. I spent approximately 90% of my time chasing down certificates and getting them updated. If the certificates could be removed, I would give it a nine. GoAnywhere MFT didn't provide any sort of guidance on certificate management. They simply provided what needed to be done and left the implementation to us, which was a significant oversight on their part as certificate management became a nightmare. The overall rating for GoAnywhere MFT would be a seven, primarily due to the never-ending nightmare of certificates.
I started seeing the benefits of GoAnywhere MFT one week after implementation. The user interface of GoAnywhere MFT is free and friendly, as everything on the user interface can be managed without assistance. I rate GoAnywhere MFT eight out of ten overall.

We don't use its connectors at this point. It's pretty much standalone. We are an Oracle cloud customer as well. Most integrations are managed within the cloud because they have their own connectors. Cloud-to-cloud transfers for services like Salesforce don't require routing through our system unless it's for archival purposes. It's an excellent product. I would recommend it. I would rate GoAnywhere MFT a nine out of ten. The cloud version is relatively new to everyone, and there were instances where the support team was going through their own learning process. However, they handled everything professionally. The pace of technology advancement is rapid, but they maintain excellent service.
I would advise trying the demo and trials according to your company's needs. You should compare and correlate your experiences. It's important to do a trial and consider the amount of data in your company. I would also recommend reading their documentation and exploring the resources section on their website, where you can watch tutorials, product videos, and guides. I would rate GoAnywhere MFT an eight out of ten.
I would rate Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT ten out of ten. We have six people working with GoAnywhere MFT. Our customers range from small to enterprises. GoAnywhere MFT requires ongoing maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security. Regular updates, including patches and upgrades, are released approximately every three months to address vulnerabilities and introduce new features. Keeping the system up-to-date is essential for its continued functionality and protection against potential threats. As a technical professional, I recommend Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT due to its comprehensive feature set and unified dashboard, which streamline functionalities that often require multiple tools in other, more costly MFT solutions.

We considered using their agents, but we found that a front-facing website was a lot easier for our users to use and for us to implement. We did not have extremely capable IT people to go and install the agents and make sure that we were installing the right version and keeping that up to date on our end users. Having our users guided over to a website that we could then maintain was a lot easier for us to manage. We are not talking about thousands of users. We are talking about about 60 users in total who we were connecting to the tool. We looked into SecureForms for our end users. It was an additional data entry. For the most part, for our particular use case, these final ART files already had all the metadata that we needed inside of another tool. It was just about getting these files that were identified by a unique identifier from the artist over to our end users. Everything that we needed to know was contained within the user who was logging in and could be referenced by the unique identifier, so we did not want to busy the process with SecureForms. There might be other use cases where SecureForms could be helpful, and we have dabbled with it, but to get our particular use case out the door, we did not need SecureForms. I would rate Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT a ten out of ten. I was very impressed by the tool, its capability, and the way their support responded. I would absolutely recommend it. I am an advocate for this product. I am biased because it saved me time and frustration. I would definitely use the product again. I am advocating for it right now. We have spent considerably more than what we have spent in our entire infrastructure trying to find other solutions, but we have not found any. I would definitely go back to it.

From what I have seen, other teams that run file transfer platforms for other organizations of our size normally need at least one extra FTE to manage what we do. We do it with about an FTE and a half, whereas other teams need three or four engineers. They often need one person dedicated to running the system itself, let alone building out any automation. We have one guy who does all that. Overall, based on the other players in the market, GoAnywhere MFT is a ten out of ten for us. They have the right blend. While there are always going to be improvement areas, especially for the price, it is a slam dunk. It is hard to say to go with another solution because it is very stable.

I would rate GoAnywhere MFT nine out of ten. Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT doesn't require coding for everything under the input values for the workflows, unlike other solutions. Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT requires minimal and easy maintenance. Our clients usually assign four people in each organization that utilize Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT. Based on the features provided by Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT, the price is reasonable. There is no need to purchase additional tools to monitor and maintain the data. I recommend Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT to other users. Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT provides peace of mind.

I would rate Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT ten out of ten. We evaluated GoAnywhere MFT's gateway feature, which adds security by placing a secure gateway at the network perimeter. However, since 90 percent of our connections already utilize a VPN, which offers its own encryption and security, we opted not to implement it. Similarly, we haven't invested in the secure forms functionality as we haven't identified a need for it. GoAnywhere MFT itself requires minimal maintenance, only needing one patch upgrade so far. Additionally, while occasional Windows updates and server restarts are necessary, they are significantly easier to manage compared to maintaining and patching a Linux system. GoAnywhere MFT stood out among the products we reviewed - it offered superior functionality at a surprisingly affordable price. Compared to other options, GoAnywhere felt like a clear winner in terms of both value and capability. I recommend attending the demonstrations offered by the sales and presales engineering teams. They are product experts and are happy to provide hands-on demos where you can build a sample workflow. These sessions are very informative, and similar follow-up calls after purchase are also valuable. They can help you avoid unnecessary steps and ensure you're using GoAnywhere MFT to its full potential.
I would rate Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT 8 out of 10. GoAnywhere allows us to encrypt our data using either TGP or AES encryption. Depending on the use case, one or two people are required to maintain GoAnywhere. We offer GoAnywhere to a wide range of clients, from small IT shops to large banks with thousands of employees. I recommend reading about all the additional features, such as GoDrive. You should also be aware that GoAnywhere is highly scalable.
I would rate Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT nine out of ten. We have approximately 100-150 users. I recommend conducting a proof-of-concept for Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT.

GoAnywhere hasn't helped to eliminate single-function tools or unsecured file transfer methods because we work in medical records, and we don't send things in a non-secure fashion. I personally don't think that the mail is very secure. If we take the fact that we don't burn CDs anymore and we don't have to put them in the mail, then it has helped because now, it is from us to them, and there is no wait time. It hasn't enabled us to allocate staff toward other work, and it also hasn't enabled us to acquire or disseminate more data or more documents. It has only helped us to work more efficiently. I would rate it a ten out of ten. I tell people all the time that they need to get this. I was looking for something like this, and finally, I got it. I'm super happy about it. I don't want to have to go back to the way I was doing it before.
As part of the implementation process it would be a good idea to have a couple of examples, actual scenarios, you want to do. GoAnywhere has templates and they're good, but they're a little simplified compared to what you can do with the solution. That's really a compliment to the software itself. The templates are all about moving files, and GoAnywhere is capable of more than that. Having examples that involve reading data in from a database and identifying certain data lines to set variables is a good idea. I would suggest, where applicable, to spend the time to design into the job a procedure where, if a process fails, you can retry, or reset things like filenames and locations.

If your overall requirements are related to ETL and sending files to different systems, and you want to automate these kinds of daily processes, then GoAnywhere would be the best fit. It's one of the best solutions. It's lightweight and doesn't need heavy servers or big hardware to run, and it's very scalable. All these features really add to the GoAnywhere solution. Overall, the solution is a nine out of 10. The ease of use is definitely 9.5 and the performance is a nine. But in terms of catching up with all the new standards, it's a little behind it. On that, I would give it an eight. It doesn't have connectors to various new systems. For development, it's a 9.5.

Make sure you size it properly. Also, in the grand scheme of things, what I've learned is that you don't have to be on an IBM platform or Ipswitch, or Axway—the big names, the competitors. One of the players in the industry that is a little smaller, like HelpSystems, has a product that gets the job done for less money. We're really not that big as far as revenue goes. We're less than a billion-dollar-a-year corporation, with 2,500 people. But we are a not-for-profit and we work with Fiserv so we have a lot of IBM footprint on the ground. That is not typical of a company that is doing less than a billion dollars a year. Traditionally, the mentality is to just use the big-name products, Big Blue and HPE, but that is just not necessary. That's one of the valuable things that I've learned. GoAnywhere gets the job done for a lot less money than the big traditionals. Our users include three guys who are automation engineers and two guys who are MFT engineers. We also have a handful of folks, four or five, in the network operations center, who do ad hoc file-sends to credit unions. Overall, it's a great product.

On a scale from one to ten (where one is the worst and ten is the best), I would rate this product as an eight-out-of-ten. To improve it in order to rate it higher, it would have to be cheaper. To accomplish that HelpSystems could consider reorganizing the product in a more modular way. In that way, we could just make the solution fit to particular needs and pay for what is used. For most situations, we just need a few small modules instead of the entire solution in one big chunk.

I recommend the solution for secure transfer and easy setup. Despite the pricing, it is a reliable product. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.
I would rate GoAnywhere MFT an eight out of ten. I have not had any formal training on it. I would love that opportunity. Until then, it is self-learning.
I would highly recommend this solution. I am a big believer that you get what you pay for. We do not use GoAnywhere's Secure Forms. We are using this solution for simple file transfers. We are not getting too complex with it. We also do not make use of the GoAnywhere agents or the GoFast feature. I would definitely rate Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT a ten out of ten.
I rate Fortra GoAnywhere MFT 10 out of 10.
I rate Fortra GoAnywhere 10 out of 10. I would recommend GoAnywhere, depending on a company's needs. It's appropriate for enterprises who want to securely transfer files from service to service.
We know GoAnywhere has the capability to connect to popular ICAP servers, but we are not using any. I would rate GoAnywhere MFT a 9 out of 10.
I would rate Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT nine out of ten. We have approximately 100-150 users. I recommend conducting a proof-of-concept for Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT.
The solution has quarterly maintenance releases. Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT is best used in a Windows environment with low utilization. It wouldn't be something I would use in a high-utilization environment. Overall, I rate Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT a seven out of ten.
My recommendation depends on the customers’ requirements and how they transfer files in their organization. Some organizations do data transfer only over email. Compared to its competitors, the tool provides good features. Overall, I rate the product an eight out of ten.
I rate GoAnywhere MFT a ten out of ten.
I rate HelpSystems GoAnywhere MFT 10 out of 10. It's a great product that does everything we need it to do. I would advise anyone implementing GoAnywhere to get some training and learn how to build different jobs.
I'm fond of this tool. I don't know how much of an opportunity I'll get to explore other aspects of GoAnywhere's services, but I like what it's doing for us. I would 100 percent recommend GoAnywhere to someone else who is looking for solutions in this area.
I would advise others to go for it. It is a great product. If there are any issues, the support is there, and they're very helpful and right on the case. I would rate HelpSystems GoAnywhere MFT a 10 out of 10.
I believe GoAnywhere connects to almost any type of server. I move many things through SFTP and I think it pretty much connects to any kind of system you're looking for. It'll connect to cloud systems as well. My advice would be to look and see what it can do and then look at how it could improve your processes. I think you'll notice that you'll end up saving money by purchasing the product and saving a headache here and there. I would rate GoAnywhere a ten out of ten.
It is a good solution, but of course, you need to have the knowledge to be able to automate very quickly. I would rate HelpSystems GoAnywhere MFT a nine out of ten.
I recommend this product for other users who wants to start using it, and we do recommend it all the time.
This suitability of this product depends on business requirements. For anybody who is implementing this product, I would suggest taking some time to learn Advanced Workflows because it is complex.
