I can provide a review for one of the products that I have experience with. The kind of testing tools we use includes a real phone for testing our application, but we were searching for a cloud solution for testing. However, we ultimately did not choose any of the companies we were trying.

My experiences with BrowserStack and LambdaTest include conducting very important tests on both products. I was really surprised by LambdaTest. It was a very good service and for the price, I think it is a very good solution. However, we did not test all of the products, as we only tried these two products.

We tried LambdaTest for testing to determine if the solution could be a good fit for us. The testing was conducted during one month with 20 people for evaluation of the solution.

Geolocation testing helped verify localized content, as we used this function, but I did not test it very deeply, so I do not have comprehensive information that would be useful.

After a few months, we realized that the phone that we have was sufficient for us.

The main differences between the real phone and LambdaTest, in my opinion, are that because we have old iPhones, we can give the employees who need a real phone for testing a device. We were searching for a solution to help them access a different kind of iPhone. If I were the only one to decide if it is a good solution, I would choose LambdaTest. However, because of the many phones that we have, the final decision was to keep our real phone. I think in two or three years, we may need to reconsider this decision.

The best features with LambdaTest that I liked most include an easy interface, user-friendly design, and not overly technical functionality for people using it. It is user-friendly, easy to understand, and easy to start testing with this solution. Additionally, each time we saw something that did not seem to work very well, we reached out to the company, and they returned the call very quickly and helped us find a way to solve each problem we encountered.

I did use the geolocation testing feature.

I was not impressed with how detailed their analytics and logs are from LambdaTest. The solution we were testing is being used because many of us are working from home. It was easy to implement because with a real phone, we have to bring a real phone to each person. Since three years ago, many employees have been working from home, so we were trying to find a solution for this challenge. We had no need to exploit the information for the analytics generated in the background. The purpose was simply to make it easy for our employees to access a phone.

The downsides I noticed include that the pricing was very good, but the visual quality of the image sometimes suffers. The contrast on a real iPhone provides better contrast than with the cloud solution. The only aspect that was less favorable than on a real phone was the contrast of the color.

I would assess the benefit of LambdaTest's automated Selenium grid testing as not applicable because we wanted to see what the difference is and what it would bring us to use a cloud solution.

I would give LambdaTest an eight on a scale of one to ten. I rate it an eight because it offers many kinds of phones and many versions. It is easy to understand the product. Each time I selected a command, the response was really sufficient for us.

The real phone that we use includes different versions of iPhone and different versions of Android.

I am not familiar with Apple products such as iPhone 16, iOS SDK, or ARKit because we just use the common iPhone to ensure our customers receive support. We use the iPhone that we know our customers mainly use.

My overall rating for LambdaTest is eight out of ten.

I am a DevOps engineer, and I automate tools for our QA team. We work with LambdaTest to automate test cases using an automation framework. We test US-based cases and integrate LambdaTest with our CICD environment.

LambdaTest supports multiple platforms like iOS and allows us to execute tests on real-time devices instead of simulators. It saves us time, reducing the test duration from three to four hours to 30 to 40 minutes for 400 to 500 tests. This efficiency is achieved by scheduling tasks overnight via Bamboo.

LambdaTest supports multiple platforms like iOS across different devices and enables real-time testing. The capability to connect with a cloud environment and choose the required device model is valuable. It enhances the overall testing experience.

There is scope for improvement in service account usage, LDAP integration, and adapting new devices and features. Challenges and glitches exist, such as handling notifications dynamically and gaps that need to be addressed. Feedback is being provided to the vendor.

We have been using LambdaTest for almost eight months.

We have increased our test case number, and LambdaTest is facilitating that increase. However, I am not sure how they handle scalability on the vendor side.

Their customer support is good. Whenever we raise a concern or issue, they support us instantly. They are very well supported during initial setup and adaptation.

We previously used BrowserStack, which was expensive compared to LambdaTest. Due to budget concerns, we decided to shift from BrowserStack to LambdaTest.

Their customer service supported the initial setup very well.

LambdaTest is well suited to our budget and requirements. It may not be the best tool for everyone, but it suits our needs.

I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

I am not the right person to discuss the use cases of the product since it is the Tech team in our company that handles the solution, while I just oversee the functioning part.

The tool reduces the manual effort needed. In our company, we can automate some tasks and put them into Lambda functions.

The most valuable feature of LambdaTest stems from the fact that it is a service offered by AWS, so it's not a separate tool or something.

I won't be able to comment on what could be improved in the solution since I am not the one who handles LambdaTest. It is our company's IT team that takes care of LambdaTest.

Improvements on a platform need to happen on a timely basis. If something is perfect, it doesn't mean that it doesn't need to improvise or improve, like in terms of adding new features. There should be some new features coming up or some performance improvisation over a period of time.

I have been using LambdaTest for a couple of years. My company has a partnership with AWS.

Stability-wise, I have not experienced any downtime or other performance issues.

I don't think LambdaTest has any scalability issues, as far as I have heard from my team.

I am not the one who deals with LambdaTest's support team, but the IT team from my company's side connects with the support team of AWS, and most of the time, they get a fair response on time.

I rate the technical support a seven to eight out of ten.

Regarding LambdaTest, I believe that some configuration is required.

The price of the product is available online on the AWS Pricing Calculator, which doesn't involve any hidden charges.

The product can be described as an averagely-priced solution.

I can't comment on why I decided to work with LambdaTest since I am a part of an evolving industry, and the team who did the actual research of the product and takes care of it is the IT team in our company, so the team probably finds the users and defines the use cases for the tool.

My company has a partnership with Contentful, Microsoft Azure, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, Shopify, and many more.

I rate the overall tool an eight out of ten.

I used LambdaTest for mobile testing and native applications.

LambdaTest is easy to use, and the documentation provides all the needed information.

I didn't like the solution's technical support and how they communicated and tried to fix the issues of customers like me.

I have been using LambdaTest for one year.

We faced issues with the solution’s stability. We faced the general problem of a crash test during execution due to system errors on the solution's side.

I rate the solution’s stability on mobile a four out of ten.

LambdaTest is a scalable solution.

We had a regression run every two weeks. During every regression testing, we had similar issues from LambdaTest's side, which was a huge problem for our tests, stability, and productivity. I had to call them every two weeks and spend two to four hours on one call to understand why this happened. The LambdaTest engineer we communicated with decided that he didn't need to fix this issue. So, I had to create a workaround from my side. This was the biggest issue I faced with the solution.

The solution's initial setup wasn't difficult because all the instructions were found in the documentation on the website. However, you need to have some minimal experience with the tool to deploy it.

From the customer side, LambdaTest is cheaper for big company usage and works fine as other similar applications.

LambdaTest is a cloud-based solution. LambdaTest is easy to use, and the documentation provides all the needed information. It is a good system for CI testing, but its support team was the hardest part for me.

Overall, I rate the solution a five out of ten.

We are doing manual testing, covering the overall scope. There are multiple dimensions that need to be tested. And regarding the trouble, like, there were some information issues on certain devices, and that's why we needed to check those on the same devices.

The solution is very handy. And the device support is very good. I like that the technical support team handles it all in one, too.

There is room for improvement in support. The community should extend support. Like, Lambda has a huge community, and support should be available online.

Another area of improvement is stability and performance of the solution. 

I have experience with the solution. 

The solution is stable, but I've noticed some issues with the speed and overall performance. For example, when I'm using my development laptop, and I switch to LambdaTest, the performance decreases. This is especially noticeable when I'm using a dimension that is working on the laptop, and I try to use the browser. In general, the availability of the device could be improved.

Other than that, I've also had some issues with the speed of certain API calls and the rendering of data. For example, when I'm onboarding data, the process can be slow.

My main concern is that the camera is not available when I'm using LambdaTest. However, I've been able to work around this issue by using the camera to check my connections.

Overall, I would rate the stability a seven out of ten. 

It is a scalable solution. We are three end users, and we are planning to extend the usage. 

There is room for improvement in customer service and support. It's a solution that was implemented years ago, and not a huge community really good. So that's why maybe we can work on technical support.

It was easy to set up. It was not hard. You just need credentials and set up the virtual devices, and that's good to go. I am looking forward to integrate it with Slack and Jira. 

It's pretty good to use and to write the code for the manual automation and even for the developers to debug this thing. It's a pretty wholesome solution. That's why we prefer to get the solution. Because not only the testers can look into this, but the development team can also use the tool.

In our project, we use LambdaTest for browser testing. The team has one shared account. We primarily use LambdaTest for mobile automation, real-time testing, and real device testing across various processes. We also utilize it for mobile testing, reporting, and API testing.

Automation and mobile testing have improved our efficiency.

LambdaTest is highly beneficial, especially for mobile automation testing. Because your company might not have access to various mobile devices or tools, LambdaTest provides a solution for mobile and cross-browser testing in such situations, making it extremely valuable.

The tool can improve its testing speed. Changing or switching to another mobile phone can be very slow on a real device.

I have been using LambdaTest for six months.

The scalability is slow.

I've used Appium.

The initial setup is easy. There are other team members for maintenance.

If you want to control the versions of your computer or mobile device, you can do so quickly with LambdaTest. You don't need to change your browser, app, or phone versions manually. It's a wonderful and beneficial tool that saves me time and makes it easier.

I recommend the solution. Overall, I rate the solution as seven out of ten.

We use the solution for automation testing and monitoring. With LambdaTest, we can use multiple browsers or operating systems to do testing.

Performing automation testing from UI is a little slow and could be improved.

Around 100 users are using the solution in our organization.

The solution's technical support was bad. The support team took a lot of time to respond and closed my ticket without solving my problem.

LambdaTest is deployed on the cloud in our organization. I would recommend LambdaTest to other users because it's very useful and easy to learn. It is very easy for somebody to learn to use LambdaTest for the first time. I have used the AI feature in LambdaTest.

At EY, South Africa, my team is tasked with functional testing of any IT solution we are consulting or providing to the clients. As a AQ analyst in functional testing, the majority of my time is devoted to testing the cross-browser compatibility of the website or web app that I am testing. For my cross-browser testing, I am using LambdaTest for automating the testing process, mainly with the help of the parallel testing feature.

It provides 2000+ browser-OS-resolution combinations to work with, which is perfect for our consulting firm, as we don't know what our clients may need. 

We have a Testing lab in our office but with COVID, we were not able to access that. This is why we needed a cloud solution. I was not very confident about having a cloud solution, as they are notorious for being slow and unstable. But, I think LambdaTest is a pleasant surprise. 

It is 60% cheaper and there is no fuss in maintaining the lab, so we have more time to do the testing. The slow nature of a cloud platform was compensated with parallel testing, and now we are able to finish our testing job faster than it was before COVID.

Additionally, is it integrated well with Favor, MS teams, and Jenkins, so it's easier to communicate within the team than it was before.

Mainly, we used it to serve the needs of remote cross browser testing during COVID.

Additionally, it helped to make our deployment faster with parallel testing.

While it is simple to use, LambdaTest is also integrated with our existing tools Jenkins, Microsoft Teams, and Favor.

For responsive testing, they have LT Browsers with a side by side view. It is helpful software for quick fixes around responsiveness.

We are impressed with the stability of the platform and the promptness of the support team. Even during COVID, they were available 24*7.

I feel that the automated screenshot testing takes a little longer on MacOS sometimes.

Though the stability is good, cloud platforms are a bit slower.

The platform provides good emulators and simulators but in the future, there will be a need for testing on real devices. This would be a good addition to future rollouts.

Though the dashboard is clean, there is room for test analytics to get a qualitative glance at results.

Some suggestions on testing will definitely help a newbie working with the platform.

We have been using LambdaTest since April 2020.

We used CrossBrowserTesting but there were stability issues.

We evaluated CrossBrowserTesting and BrowserStack.

Overall, this is a good product. My advice is to talk to the support team before you buy.
