Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The best feature of Pulse Connect Secure is the good security it provides. It gives a secure connection to your network.""It is customer-friendly. It is quite easy for our users to connect. There is also the flexibility of the features.""The flexibility in their management is great.""The most valuable features of Pulse Connect Secure are multi-factor authentications, and VPNs and SSL VPNs we are using.""What I like the most about Pulse Connect Secure is that it's user-friendly. It's easy to use. You just need to connect, and that's it.""Pulse Connect Secure is a stable solution.""It's a very convenient and user-friendly application."

"The location and remote management services are the most valuable.""Good device management and good integration with third parties.""The most valuable feature is the security policies.""VMware Workspace ONE is scalable.""It is like any other mobile solution. It gives us the ability to control remotely, and that is what we like. We can wipe out and deploy remotely.""The most valuable feature is the interface with SCAP, which is the Security Content Automation Protocol.""The most valuable feature depends on the use case of the clients. However, one feature I like is the Kiosk Mode. In the Kiosk Mode in most cases, the clients only can make available one application developed by the solution and permit the employee or the final client to use only this one application for interaction. This provides a security control layer limiting only one application functionally.""The initial setup is easy and the deployment doesn't take too long."

Cons
"Connection-wise, Pulse Connect Secure could be faster, and this is its area for improvement.""I don't have any downsides to report about the product at this time.""The stability could be better. There are sometimes bugs in the system.""At the moment, Pulse Connect Secure is a pretty good solution, and I don't see any issues with it. Currently, I'm not aware of a new or additional feature that's needed in Pulse Connect Secure, but it would be good if the team could look at how the speed of connection could be increased. Though it's quite seamless and I didn't face any problem with the speed, it would be better to improve the speed and keep going forward, especially as the industry's changing and people would love connections to be a lot faster.""Pulse Connect Secure could improve the reporting, it is lacking in detail and should take the report automatically.""The most valuable features of Pulse Connect Secure are the user-friendly connection and interconnecting.""We want to switch to another solution because there are some challenges with the support from Pulse. The quality of documentation is also not good. It is sometimes very hard to find documentation that provides a solution and describes how all this works."

More Pulse Connect Secure Cons →

"The reverse proxy is not intuitive and it takes time to get it right, so this is something that can be improved.""I would like to see improvements made to both the support, and the pricing.""They do have a good integration, but there is a long way to go as far as integration is concerned. They need to integrate with the cloud solutions a little bit more. We are looking for Azure integration.""VMware Workspace ONE platform offers support for Mac Books and we see that there is some room for improvement in that area versus all the products out there.""Technical support needs to be more responsive to our requests.""Integration with Microsoft needs improvement. There are some dependencies with Microsoft that aren't 100% yet, for example: compliance synchronization.""I'd like to see expanded device support, particularly for IoT things like SCADA devices.""VMware Workspace ONE for the new users or the new clients that they try to procure and learn it, there can have difficulties. It does not have user-friendly portals. The portal seems to be more user-friendly in Microsoft solutions."

    Reviews from Real Users

Below is some feedback from our PeerSpot users who are currently using the solution:

PeerSpot user Patrick B., Cybersecurity Architect at a tech services company, says, "Its UI is extremely easy to use whether you're an advanced user or a novice user. When I first opened it up and had to learn the product, I was easily a novice. By the end of the third month, I was digging into the backend of the system and using it as a highly advanced user to accomplish what I needed to accomplish, and I was able to do it through the UI mostly."

Roshan T., Partner Manager North America at a tech company, mentions how satisfied he is with the product, saying, "You can put all your applications on a mobile device, be it a phone or tablet. It is secure and easy to use. Because it is centrally managed, you don't have to do any configuration on the phone. I just got the phone and connected to the central applications. I just downloaded one thing and everything got rolled out. Email, calendar, and other things were deployed centrally. If you don't have AirWatch, you have to configure your phone manually. For example, you need to deploy and configure your email manually and then synchronize everything. It is much simpler when a mobile device is centrally managed."
