We performed a comparison between IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Kryon RPA based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The quality is great! It's very strong and has a very strong platform."
"I think simplicity is key. One of the things that we've noticed is how our developers have been able to quickly adopt the platform; but not only the developers or the techy people, also the business."
"The solution’s performance is good."
"The feature I found most valuable is the TCO."
"I like the integration with Watson and the possibility to have an intelligent reading of all the customers' documents."
"The initial setup is straightforward."
"It is easy to use. We have enabled our resources who don't have a background in automation to be certified and trained, then implement this product within a very short period of time, as it is very user-friendly."
"The solution is very user-friendly."
"As a business user, it's so easy to use. With the recording of the processes, we didn't need to hire a specific developer... we are able to build most of our processes without having to develop the actual development skillset... the simplicity is the biggest win."
"We are able to cope with our clients's demands. No matter how much volume they throw at us, we are able to get it done quickly."
"The thing that we find the most value in is the Process Discovery component and the ability to really see what users are doing on a day-to-day basis. We're starting to make sense of the processes that they're doing and getting visibility into what they're doing. Overall, the Process Discovery is very good."
"We have been using Kryon Process Discovery for about a year now. With our initial tests and monitoring just a couple people, we were able to identify 79 possible use cases within a one-month period."
"The task mining aspect has been the most valuable for us. That's why we actually bought it."
"All our users have no technical background. But Kryon is really simple and intuitive. Our business adapted very quickly and easily. This is the main thing and it's why we love the system so much. It's why we are always trying to put more processes into the system and make more use cases: because of the simplicity and the intuitive nature of the system."
"The recording feature enables us to record what we're doing, like typing or clicking the mouse, and to identify objects on the screen. We basically teach the program how to type, instead of a person. That's the most powerful feature."
"The full-service automation aspects and the process discovery are the most valuable features of Kryon RPA."
"The scalability of the solution can be challenging."
"The product's document readers must be improved to capture the data well."
"We're based in Thailand, but the documentation is not in Thai, which makes it difficult for us. If they could translate all of their documentation into our language, we'd be very grateful."
"We are looking to see how it can connect with various interfaces seamlessly, through APIs."
"We can use its inbuilt activities, and it's a complete package, but just like ElectroNeek, a limitation is that we have to depend on its inbuilt activities. We can't include our own activities or we can't introduce other activities."
"Extensibility is the key, especially in terms of the Recorders feature that we have. That should be browser independent. Enhance it because some people have Chrome, some have Internet Explorer, etc. Also, integration with PDFs: Not just the ability to read information from PDFs but the ability to write information from PDFs, make it secure, sign it, etc. Finally, if they can allow a token exchange inside the tool itself, that would help."
"This RPA should be under the umbrella of BPM. This is what the future should be."
"Needs better integration with artificial intelligence or with machine-learning."
"Extracting meaningful data requires significant effort. You need a dedicated business analyst who can understand the output."
"Kryon RPA's integration with other solutions could be more seamless."
"What we are lacking is OCR, the ability to read text. We would like it to have the ability to take a page which is free text and analyze it, and then for the robot to know what to do next. This ability does not exist in Kryon products."
"At first, we had problems with the object detection but in this latest release it has been better, and I think it keeps getting better."
"We would like to see having a little more specific documentation, or some of the examples be easier to find. One of the big things that we get directed to now is the Kryon Community page, but a lot of that wasn't in existence or publicized when we started doing our training and education. Now, we're stumbling through using it. For the majority of the time, we have either had to try and interpret what the instructions meant or do a service desk ticket."
"There are limitations on integrations with other platforms like ServiceNow. There are some issues integrating. It's not a really an open system. The product, its design, etc., is really good, but they have to look at the openness, how to integrate with other products which are available in the market, as well as with our own solutions. You can do integration but it is not so easy."
"What needs improvement in Kryon RPA is the support. Sometimes, the solution has problems, so I contacted support, but I didn't receive immediate help from the team. You have to wait a while before the problem gets solved. This happens a few times in terms of getting cases solved. It would also be better if Kryon RPA had a cloud version because currently, from what I know, it only has an on-premise version, though I could be wrong about that. There isn't any additional feature I'd like added to Kryon RPA because it's a good service, but the support is very, very bad, so that area could be improved."
"Kryon RPA need to enhance the robustness of our multi-board architecture to ensure the availability of bots on multiple machines."
