Has supported marketing and sales alignment while leaving room for better customization options
I have recommendations for making it easier to customize. I used to work in a tech company, so it's very easy to do that in-house, and our team did that. It's not easy to customize for a regular user though. In the world of generative AI where it's easy for you to connect different tools, APIs, etc., HubSpot Marketing Hub still requires some customization. For example, if you want to make sure it's connected with a custom CRM or some other CRM, there is some fair bit of modification that's required. Some main differences in my experience between HubSpot Marketing Hub and Salesforce are that Salesforce is a bit un-user-friendly. I have to be fair, I haven't used Salesforce too much, but I think HubSpot Marketing Hub is much more user-friendly.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Marketing Hub does an incredible job of tracking and updating client records. The reporting has been enhanced, so you can do just about any type of reporting with it and export to Excel if necessary. They just came out with a considerable upgrade a few months ago, which really helped on the reporting side."
"The most valuable feature for us is the lead-nurturing workflows, which give us the ability to create automated workflows that will operate certain flows-of-action automatically on a duration of time I set."
"Ease of editing and creating templates after initial development with the Design Manager."
"It has eased managing the sales team and the sales journey right from setting up appointments."
"Overall speed and ease of use, plus the sandbox environment that allows for real-time examples to test and share with clients, lets us shine with a deep understanding of the platform."
"Technical support is helpful and responsive."
"HubSpot Marketing Hub has kept me updated with alerts."
"With 18 companies to manage, manual handling would be impractical. HubSpot's automation facilitates pre-scheduling, greatly enhancing our efficiency."
"Instead of operating in silos and not knowing what other teammates are working on, we are able to collaborate and maximize our initiatives."

Cons

"They're not the cheapest."
"While HubSpot Marketing Hub has shown increased functionality, there is still room for improvement, particularly in workflows."
"The solution can scale with no problem; it's just very expensive. One of the drawbacks to HubSpot is that it is a very pricey tool."
"I am not in a position to afford the CRM at this point."
"Years ago, these tools used to allow you to see the exact location of people that were clicking on things. I guess they quit doing it for privacy reasons, but that was very helpful information and I miss seeing it in those reports. I thought that this tool could do it when we left Act-On to go to HubSpot, but when we moved over they stopped doing it."
"The solution is not recommended for launching investment."
"They've inserted new modules over time, but they're add-ons and require additional licenses depending on packages."
"While HubSpot Marketing Hub has shown increased functionality, there is still room for improvement, particularly in workflows."
"Analytics are set up in a confusing way that could be better streamlined for usability; certain functions for social sharing could be enhanced, such as integrating hashtag suggestions and tagging capabilities."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"HubSpot Marketing Hub's pricing is reasonable. It is about 800-900 dollars a month. It may be pricey for smaller clients, but for the bigger ones, it's only a small part of their monthly revenue."
"At present, the pricing seems reasonable, but with our plans to scale, I anticipate that it could become a bit steep."
"I'd rate the solution's pricing in the middle range. I want more regular communication from our customer service manager to help us improve our use of HubSpot Marketing Hub."
"We are on an annual license for this solution. There have many different versions to meet the needs of their customers, such as professional enterprise and basic versions. They charge for the particular feature or components which are available in the license you have."
"I believe an individual license costs $50 per month."
"Have sufficient content before signing up for the 30-day trial."
"The solution is cheaper than its competitors."
"HubSpot Marketing Hub provided me with the startup package with 90% off, but it's still hundreds of dollars a month instead of thousands of dollars a month. There is an additional cost for training and onboarding which is hundreds of dollars. It is expensive and should be reduced."
