Logging and vector search have transformed observability and empowered reliable ai agents
Elastic Search is not specifically being used for certain purposes. I deploy Elastic Search database on the cloud and use cloud services so that nobody can attack. However, I do not use Elastic Search to resolve attack issues. The basic main purpose of Elastic Search, as of now, I feel it can do more in the AI area. Sometime I saw that when I am developing RAG and have to generate the embeddings, which I call metadata, sometimes it tries to fail. That durability or issue handling should be improved, but apart from that, I did not find anything as of now. As per my use case, whatever I am using seems pretty good. Apart from that, some definitely improvement will be there. One improvement is that it should be faster. Whenever I am searching any logs, it takes much time. For example, if I open my log in Notepad or a similar tool, I can search the text within a second. With Elastic Search, it takes a little bit of time, ten to fifteen seconds. That can be improved. Sometimes, engineers take time to assign when I create a ticket.

Higher conversion rates with an advanced algorithm and intuitive interface
An area for improvement is the interface language, as our team mainly speaks French. Offering a French-language option would significantly enhance accessibility and streamline usage. Additionally, simplifying interactions with the Luigi's Box team, such as through localized support or tools tailored to non-English-speaking users, would improve collaboration. These changes would ensure a more seamless integration of the solution into our daily operations.

"Elastic Enterprise Search is scalable. On a scale of one to 10, with one being not scalable and 10 being very scalable, I give Elastic Enterprise Search a 10."
"It gives us the possibility to store and query this data and also do this efficiently and securely and without delays."
"The best feature of Elastic Search that I appreciate is its monitoring capability."
"The positive impact I've seen from using Elastic Search includes replacing conventional databases and being able to store much more unstructured data."
"I would say that Elasticsearch is better than all the other solutions."
"With its advanced algorithm and intuitive interface, this tool makes setting up the product feed simple and efficient."
"Its seamless integration with existing platforms streamlines workflows, making it an indispensable tool for businesses of all sizes."

"Luigi's Box is an excellent tool that solves our problems with the search and recommended products in the carousels."
"In analytics, we can see what our visitors can't find with us, because we can look in history to see what products they wanted to search for and couldn't find. We can see the exact number of people who wanted to find something."
"Within the dashboard, the application offers data analysis that works with different views of the customer data. This data is graphically processed and thus does not need to be further modified for better interpretation."
"Luigi's Box has brought substantial enhancements to our company, particularly by enriching the search experience on our website. Through its powerful search capabilities, our customers can effortlessly locate their desired products, resulting in heightened satisfaction and conversion rates."

Cons

"There are some features lacking in ELK Elasticsearch."
"The solution must provide AI integrations."
"The price could be better. Kibana has some limitations in terms of the tablet to view event logs. I also have a high volume of data. On the initialization part, if you chose Kibana, you'll have some limitations. Kibana was primarily proposed as a log data reviewer to build applications to the viewer log data using Kibana. Then it became a virtualization tool, but it still has limitations from a developer's point of view."
"The reports could improve."
"The one area that can use improvement is the automapping of fields."
"The initial configuration could be easier; at first, the learning curve is a little high, and over time, it becomes easier."
"Elastic Enterprise Search could improve its SSL integration easier. We should not need to go to the back-end servers to do configuration, we should be able to do it on the GUI."
"The UI point of view is not very powerful because it is dependent on Kibana."
"We have been using the service for more than two years, and our experience is only positive."
"An area for improvement is the interface language, as our team mainly speaks French."
"Enhancing the reporting and analytics capabilities would provide us with deeper insights into user behavior and search trends, helping us optimize our offerings further."
"Enhancing the user interface to be more intuitive and user-friendly could significantly reduce the learning curve for new users."
"However, we know that there's always room for improvement, and Luigi's Box has already made a lot of progress and it is still increasing its value and adding new features."
"More robust guidelines on optimization techniques would be highly valuable."
"When setting up banner ads in the search window, it takes a long time for the banners to appear."
"Deeper use of AI and ML - although with the advent of AI, new features have been implemented into Luigi's Box, there is still room for deeper integration."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is not expensive because users have the option of choosing the managed or the subscription model."
"An X-Pack license is more affordable than Splunk."
"The tool is not expensive. Its licensing costs are yearly."
"The version of Elastic Enterprise Search I am using is open source which is free. The pricing model should improve for the enterprise version because it is very expensive."
"ELK has been considered as an alternative to Splunk to reduce licensing costs."
"The solution is affordable."
"We are paying $1,500 a month to use the solution. If you want to have endpoint protection you need to pay more."
"Although the ELK Elasticsearch software is open-source, we buy the hardware."
