Creating a session requires just one click, which makes data ready efficiently. Reporting-wise, Cornerstone is the best. While LinkedIn Learning is strong overall, there are a few areas where it could improve to make the experience even better. More interactive learning would be beneficial. Adding live sessions or discussion forums for real-time interaction with instructors and peers could make learning more engaging. Currently, all the courses are recorded, and nothing is happening live. There should be something more interesting that could help with better engagement if there were live sessions. Better customization for organizations would also help. While learning paths exist, more tailored options for specific industries could be beneficial. The content needs to be a bit more localized, with more regional-specific examples and case studies to make courses feel relevant globally. For example, even though I am sitting in the UK and doing a course in the UK, most of the examples are related to the United States or other regions. Different markets have different scenarios and challenges, so it is hard to correlate. One of the main things LinkedIn Learning could improve is adding live sessions. Currently, everything on LinkedIn Learning is recorded, and nothing is happening live. I think this has an engagement effect. Sometimes when I am doing training or completing a course, the recordings are from 2020 or 2021, which is a bit old. A lot has changed in three to four years. Interactive features such as live question-and-answer sessions, hands-on projects, deeper analytics, and better integration with tools such as Microsoft or project management could make it a ten. Some of the data needs to be updated more frequently. There are some courses that, for example, in project management or negotiation, which are fields that evolve every day, but a few of the courses are from 2022 or 2021 and have not been updated. More updates are required as time is moving and we are moving toward more artificial intelligence.

Clear instructions and effective learning with room for market reach and language expansion
Regarding areas of Skillsoft that I would like to see improved or enhanced in the future, the platform is already very good and nice. If Skillsoft is launching its platform worldwide, they should be language specific. While I can understand English, if someone does not understand it, they should have tutors for their regions as well, so they can develop more certification programs in languages understood by the majority of people. I rate it a seven because they are missing two points: they do not have much market reach, and it should be more convenient in local languages of nations as they are approaching the worldwide area. Similar to how Netflix has multiple channel swapping options, if Skillsoft is training worldwide, they need to have the option for language selection.

Cons

"A minus is that Cornerstone doesn't provide the admin the ability to create their own content for learning. So, you can just manage the content."
"The recruitment module needs to be improved in Cornerstone Learning."
"Its dashboard and analytics must be improved. Currently, we get the data, but we don't get anything from the insightfulness perspective. Analytics is where it requires a lot of work. We definitely expect some good dashboard features, which are currently lacking in this solution. From a technical perspective, they need to open access to all HTML tags. It currently doesn't support many HTML tags, which makes it challenging to create HTML pages."
"Cornerstone Learning could be improved with more e-learning content."
"The automated ticketing system for technical support often has a response time that is quite long, which is something that should be improved."

"Currently, everything on LinkedIn Learning is recorded, and nothing is happening live."
"There could be more quizzes and short tests to help viewers retain information."
"One area that LinkedIn Learning could improve is by adding more variety of training in cybersecurity."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing of Cornerstone Learning is reasonable, but my knowledge of the cost is limited. I've had some discussions about licenses. I suppose we've had to push them a little bit to be more flexible about the licensing. For example, someone said they could only give us licenses in a batch of 500, but we found out that it wasn't true. We were able to negotiate a different amount."
"I rate the price of Cornerstone Learning a four out of five. There are not any additional costs other than the standard licensing fees"
"The price of Cornerstone Learning depends on many factors, such as size and negotiations."
"I was not involved in the financial negotiation for our contract with this company, but in the past, I have seen the fees run between $10 USD and $11 USD per user."
"The solution's pricing depends on the specific requirements."
"This is a cost-effective solution."
"I would rate the price at four on a scale from one to five because it's a very expensive product."
"I'm not aware of the costs. It must have been something for which we paid. Every single employee in the company had some kind of access to Cornerstone because that's how they got to their training."
