Workday and Cornerstone Learning compete in the human capital management and learning sectors. Workday appears to have an upper hand in integration and user-friendly design, while Cornerstone Learning excels in offering a comprehensive talent management suite with strong learning focus.
Features: Workday provides ease of navigation, robust integration capabilities, and consolidated HR processes. Its reporting tools are comprehensive, supporting user-friendly implementation. Cornerstone Learning delivers a customizable user interface, powerful analytics, and a complete range of learning management functions to address diverse training needs.
Room for Improvement: Workday users desire more reporting customization, simpler workflows, and better mobile app functionality. Enhancements in global payroll solutions and agile support are also sought. Cornerstone Learning could benefit from a simpler user interface, improved mobile and reporting features, and greater notification flexibility.
Ease of Deployment and Customer Service: Workday offers cloud and hybrid deployment options, supported by a strong community network and satisfactory technical assistance, though some users call for improvements. Cornerstone Learning's cloud-centric model is complemented by responsive customer support, noted for its effectiveness.
Pricing and ROI: Workday's higher-tiered pricing reflects its substantial features and positive ROI through improved efficiency. Costs may rise for smaller businesses, despite module flexibility. Conversely, Cornerstone Learning presents a negotiable pricing model aligned with organizational needs, providing competitive industry value despite its premium cost.
Customer service and support are very user-friendly and supportive.
With Workday, I can pick up the phone, call them on Teams, and they answer immediately.
It does not have significant issues and is reliable.
Cornerstone needs to be more adaptable by generating content by just giving keywords.
The initial implementation is a massive project that requires a lot of data cleanup and preparation tasks.
While there is mass upload functionality where we can load shifts for all people or specific groups, we need to select multiple people and assign them to a schedule from the interface itself.
However, going by the demo, I think it is quite simple to use.
Cornerstone is reasonable in terms of pricing and not very expensive compared to other LMS.
It allows internal content management, playlist creation, using external links for learning, and supports various AI training.
We now have real-time visibility into our global headcount and labor costs, which allows our leadership to make faster data-driven decisions.
The interface of Workday is superior.
Comparing Workday to other products, I am taking a positive note about Workday and it is the first priority that I suggested compared to Oracle or other products.
