Centralized control effectively manages devices while updates require powered-on systems

Automatic update feature could be better and multi-layered protection capability needs enhancement
The platform's ability to update the database from my device and manage user profiles is quite effective. It also provides web threat protection by blocking unwanted websites. It provides multi-layered protection. Although it could be more efficient, it is sufficient for regular purposes. I would not recommend it based on my experience. I rate it a three out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We have clients who are also migrating from other anti-virus solutions to GravityZone because of the ease of use, ease of installation and the fact that it can be deployed in the cloud and the same software; you can actually install on other server or workstation. It automatically knows what it's protecting."
"Go for Bitdefender GravityZone EDR without any second thought."
"It was easy to set up."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is that it is easy to use and simple, meaning it's not much complicated."
"The most valuable features are the solution's thorough detection and ease of use."
"I haven't had a problem with its stability yet. Since we deployed it, we haven't had one computer instance where we had to reimage the computer due to the virus."
"It's hard to pick just one valuable feature as almost all of the main features are very useful. However, the ability to manage it centrally and have detailed control over settings, exceptions and other configurations is extremely beneficial."
"You can analyze any incident or malicious behavior. You can take action from within the EDR, and it can assist you in understanding how the attack was initiated or any malicious behavior in your environment."
"It is a powerful tool for zero-day attack prevention."
"The product works perfectly to prevent malware in our organization."
"I find the EDR service valuable as it adds extra protection and provides a centralized view."
"Kaspersky has a Cloud Discovery feature. There is no template in Kaspersky. They provide a temporary risk assessment of the cloud services. For example, if we want to block public storage services like OneDrive or Google Drive, we need to specify each individually. The main difference is that Kaspersky's process takes more time because it requires individual input."
"The most valuable component of the solution is the malware detection feature."
"We had the cloud suite of KasperskyEndpoint Security Cloud, and its monitoring was fine."
"The platform's ability to update the database from my device and manage user profiles is quite effective."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud is a very good solution for endpoint protection."

Cons

"The product can be improved by identifying errors."
"The firewall security could be better."
"I would like to see a remote desktop for installed endpoints so administrators can see what is on a user's screen or what a user is doing."
"They should include the Hebrew language for its technical support in terms of communication."
"They need to improve the dashboard by adding a dedicated executive view. This view should provide executives with a clear overview of what's happening."
"Bitfender could improve their modules on the server. For example, Bitdefender doesn't have content filters or firewall modules on the server. It would be great if it had a networking module and a content filter module at the workstations."
"They should improve the solution's patch management feature."
"Its high CPU usage also slows down devices, particularly those with lower specifications like Core i3."
"Sometimes, the tool consumes a lot of resources from the endpoints, making it an area of concern where improvements are required since it currently consumes a little bit of RAM."
"It requires specific expertise or certified professionals to deploy the product. There is a need to expand the offerings to various industries covering different-sized businesses."
"Kaspersky doesn't provide local support."
"While the product provides a good level of protection, we need better support, especially in terms of being kept informed about new threats and specific configurations needed."
"One area where the product could be improved is in its delivery and installation process."
"The tool's update management can be better. In future releases, the addition of a DLP module would be valuable."
