Simplifies payroll processing and reduces the need for extensive marketing efforts while providing scalability, compliance, and excellent stability
I believe there is room for enhancement in the scope of services. We encountered challenges at times in clearly defining it, particularly because the firewall domain is extensive and demands localization for this service. Consequently, there is occasional confusion regarding whether a service falls under the standard category or is considered an add-on. I think there is a need for a deeper level of comprehension.

I would like to improve the integration with other solutions, as I need everything integrated, like the HR module, purchase module, SCM, production, and engineering. Each and every module should be connected to the finance module, and I think Oracle provides the right solution. Also, SAP, IFS, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 offer some solutions, but I am not as happy with them as I am with Oracle. I believe that Oracle E-Business Suite could improve by transitioning from Java-based scripts in our system to a web-based environment. While Oracle already has JD Edwards available in web-based format, I think it needs to be smoother for optimization and presentation in the future. In comparison, IFS is fully web-based, and all applications are sufficiently good and user-friendly. We are developing and trying to improve to a web-based setup, but it is currently too costly.

Centralized global HR data has improved expense control and supports secure employee management
The features of SAP HCM are valued by me as it had a clear idea about what was expected from the user point. The person or the application has a lot of features and it had actually all the information needed from our part. That aspect is nice. Apart from that, the T-codes are really helpful to understand which particular option we need when we put the T-code in the search box. The stability and reliability of SAP HCM product are really nice, very helpful, and secured. It has no point of leakage and is mostly reliable, as most companies and organizations prefer SAP over many tools. As for security, it's already secured from the beginning itself, and that is the only reason our organization relies on it. Since it's very useful at a global scale, it is a very useful tool and is very easy to access and handle.

Pros

"The product allows you to create and manage shared services centrally even in small countries."

"The ability to have one reporting for all countries is valuable."
"The most valuable feature was that everything was in one system."
"The advantage was that ADP Streamline was inherently designed to serve as a marketing engine for the company."
"The product is good, user-friendly, and effective."
"They are very strong in terms of having a central regional system, where a regional person can see and monitor the calendar for each different country and know what stage they are in, if the process has been finalized and approved, and if the process has gone back to the bank, all monitored regionally."
"I like the reporting feature as it allows me to generate reports independently without relying on a payroll consultant."
"Order to cash and procure to pay process: They are valuable features because of their integration and flexibility."
"Oracle EBS adapts to our business rules, so we don't have to change them, whereas SAP is rigid."
"I have found the solution to have a good interface, security, and is user-friendly."
"It has improved our organization by enabling us to move from manual to automatic processes, meaning that our clients can focus on analysis instead of transactions and dealing with a lot of paperwork."
"It's quite secure and fast, and we get an end-to-end solution."
"E-Business Suite's best features are the standard process, the table dictionary, and the ability to work with the SQL language to correlate data."
"The most valuable feature is the data availability across the enterprise from sales to manufacturing to distribution."
"Oracle E-Business Suite has contributed to cost reduction in specific areas for customers who transition from using multiple legacy systems in silos, helping reduce costs, decrease employee working time, and minimize duplicate jobs."
"Payroll processing is my favorite HCM feature, and I like all the SuccessFactors talent modules also. SAP is making good progress on enhancements to the features in the SF modules."
"The most valuable feature, in my view, is the level of exceptions or error messages that come back when something goes wrong."
"The tool's best feature is SAP SuccessFactors."
"The master data where most of the reports were run from was the most valuable, and we were quite satisfied with this module."
"The payroll operations I’ve managed within this and other organizations involve substantial numbers, demonstrating that SAP HCM stable product. As for talent management, we’ve utilized consulting services and supplemented them with various in-house developments. Moreover, we are exploring innovative AI, including chatbots and AI-driven use cases."
"The solution is stable, and recently the localization versions for different countries were increased, adding value to the solution."
"SAP HCM is a scalable product."
"The platform is simple to use and has a user-friendly dashboard and integration features."

Cons

"We had to scrap plans to integrate Brazil because it was not doable."
"They could improve the service relationship manager (SRM), because they have an SRM which is not familiar with Simple."
"Having more clear guidance on design and training would be beneficial."
"I think there is a need for a deeper level of comprehension."
"The product is not quite up to our expectations."
"The reporting tool could be improved as it currently is just a data dump and much manipulation is required."
"The UI could be improved to be a bit more modern or trendy because it looks old-fashioned compared to other systems."
"The pricing is high as compared with other products in the market. For a small service that is out of scope, it has a huge service charge."
"The on-premises version of this solution can be difficult to expand, compared to its cloud version. The on-premises version is also more limited, versus the cloud version that has a lot of improvements. Maintaining this solution is also too costly."
"The system alerts could be improved."
"Oracle E-Business Suite is not great for small and medium-sized enterprises."
"The biggest frustration I have with Oracle is that they have taken an acquisition approach. Because of this, the modules don't talk to each other."
"It's difficult for some customers to understand in the beginning. A user really has to understand the processes."
"In SAP, when customization or work is done in an instance, it can be automatically copied to the production instance. Such automation would be a very good future addition to Oracle."
"It should be made a little bit more user friendly. When I complete my implementation and hand it over to the clients or the person who will operate it on a day-to-day basis, they find it a little bit difficult because they are not from a highly qualified IT background."
"They don't have built-in bank integrations, which would be very helpful."
"Regarding vSAN ReadyNodes, there needs to be a clear assessment of areas that require improvement from the product perspective."
"The setup process for SAP HCM is a bit complex; it is not simple."
"It would be nice if the solution migrated to S/4HANA, although this is not an immediate need of ours."
"There are already success factors for the cloud solution which cannot be integrated into S/4 HANA."
"The organizational management (OM) side needs improvement due to frequent reorganization which makes it tedious to make all the movement changes and combinations."
"A better user interface and greater AI integration are crucial."
"It's intuitive, but not as intuitive or user-friendly as it should be. It's 2017, and I should be able to click once and just breeze through it."
"On the personnel administration side, it's very difficult to do custom development."
