Good deduplication, easy to scale, and has good support
iland Secure Cloud Backup is very scalable. If you ask them for more space, they provide you with the pricing, and they make the adjustments on their end. We just recently went from 10 TB to 15 TB and they also do a great job of deduplication, because we were only using 10 TB, even though our SAN is 20TB, we were using 11 TB of it and we have some physical servers that were we are backing up.

Enhanced filtering for advocate emails
Quorum provides an elevated ability to filter on everything from people's location to age to their voting history. This is an extreme feature that will help our advocacy department a lot. It encompasses the ability to formulate emails and calls to action across regions. Their platform is more advanced than our previous one. It provides a smooth training experience and easy terminology for those in the advocacy world.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"iland is excellent as far as the interface."
"They have just implemented a Backup and Restore portal that we think is very good."
"Their technical support is very good; I have contacted them a couple of times and I have never had a bad experience with them, and they are one of the better companies as far as their support."
"The service itself wasn't bad."
"We have not identified any issues with this solution and we are very happy with it."
"The most valuable feature of Quorum OnQ is quick recovery."
"It's easy to implement, easy to spin up, easily configurable, to drop-in appliances and network. There wasn't a lot of time needed to spin it up."
"Quite frankly, once you've used the Quorum OnQ system, you could not consider any alternative."
"The ease of recovering from data loss is huge, as well as the peace of mind, knowing that if something does happen, I can have a replacement running in a matter of minutes."
"I have used the BMR (Bare Metal Restore) in several emergencies and it has absolutely saved my bacon."
"Having the ability to reduce recovery time, for critical resources, from multiple hours to a matter of minutes, is huge."
"When it comes to recovering what you need from a backup, it's really easy. You just drill through the directory, find the file and the date that you want, and click to recover. You then pick the directory you want to save it in. Usually, it takes a minute or two and it's done. It's quick and easy."
"In extreme cases, we have used the ability to spin up a VM on the Quorum device for use in our production environment, which is a great feature and also very easy to do."

Cons

"I would like to see a better method of backing up Exchange in the cloud."
"They don't support a more current version of VMware."
"This product did not help our organization."
"The vendor needs to changes billing to work like every other business and stop charging people if they stop using your service."
"Better integration with cloud-based solutions like Azure and Office 365 is needed."
"I would like to see iSCSI support added so that NAS storage servers could be protected. We heavily utilize NAS storage and the risk there is minimal backup options. Currently, we are backing up NAS to NAS which is costly and slow. Being able to integrate NAS server backup would be the last item on my Quorum bucket list."
"One of the complaints from our customers is that the Quorum is expensive, and they question why it is on par with these other products."
"It is not as feature-rich as a product like Veeam."
"They need integration with other platforms."
"They have radio buttons that allow multiselection, which is not intuitive."
"I don't love the scheduler, as I think that interface could use an overhaul."
"I would like to see iSCSI support added so that NAS storage servers could be protected."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"iland is affordable."

"I am not sure how much it costs, but I know it's expensive."
"The cost is higher than other software and services, but it is an absolute must-have."
