We use Venn as a software solution for our work-from-home employees severe since the company transitioned to a hybrid work set-up after the pandemic. 

During the pandemic, we were using VDI software. However, once network latency, or time from a user endpoint to the virtual desktop, gets over 100ms, the user experience can be degraded. We would start to experience a delay in the mouse cursor, choppy window movement, or freezing while streaming, and video content keystrokes will be delayed. Also, when trying to talk to a colleague, Microsoft Teams would freeze up and just using your mouse to click around through a web page can be frustrating.

One of the driving forces for many companies like us is to push employees into using a virtual desktop instead of physical machines so that they can be more efficiently managed and require less IT staff to operate. 

This software gives the option for our employees to use their own devices and it is cost-efficient for our company. At the same time, it gives the employees the luxury of time since we don’t need to spend our time switching between browser windows that lack integration and slow down their workflows.

Since the software is launched directly from the computer, not remotely delivered, it has minimized latency and response time.

It provides optimal performance and a familiar experience that drives productivity and eliminates frustrations from employees like me. 

Also, we don't need to log into multiple devices with multiple user accounts while at home. We want an experience akin to our mobile device - a single device that can handle both business and personal. With this product, we can choose, control, and balance work and personal apps.

We haven't encountered major issues with the solution. We are really happy that we decided to purchase Venn Software, although they are quite new. The initial setup is seamless. It's not overly complex.  

In our experience, for the most part, the solution is reliable. We haven't experienced any bugs or glitches. That said, the performance could be a bit better.

We'd like to see a bit more done with the deployment capabilities. 

The solution needs to offer better local or regional support to cater to offshore users.

We primarily use the solution for virtual desktop infrastructure. Virtual desktop infrastructure is used to reduce hardware, software, and security costs. Venn is the software we use due to our remote work and Bring Your Own Device policies (BYOD). We employ this software to safeguard our apps and files. This software helps us protect our company's files by avoiding file leaks like screenshots and copy-pasting. Additionally, this program separates personal apps from professional apps, reducing the possibility of file breaches.

It allows us to improve our security and prevent company files and data leaks. 

A virtual desktop can help a business to save costs in infrastructure, licenses, and upgrading devices for faster processes. Venn is a VDA or virtual desktop alternative that maintains a secure and secure working app and is isolated from any personal app, especially for BYOD policy companies. 

This runs from a secured enclave that ensures company files are encrypted. This is why we have been using it for quite a while now.

The most valuable aspects of the solution are the Blue Line and screenshots. A virtual desktop allows you to access your apps, files, and anything that has to do with your work using an endpoint device. This is much more secure and cost-effective as you don’t have to upgrade your hardware and software. 

We use Venn due to its features. This software allows us to improve our security and prevent company files and data leaks. 

Bring your own device, or BYOD, can trigger security issues and leaks of data for a company or enterprise. Personal and work data or files could get mixed on employees' devices, which is why we utilize Venn to increase our security by encrypting company files and records. Also, personal apps and files won’t get mixed with work apps and files since it acts like a firewall to protect the company's sensitive data. It automatically detects a work app, so we don’t have to open it, which is hassle-free.

A virtual desktop allows you to access your apps, files, and anything that has to do with your work using an endpoint device. This is much more secure and cost-effective since you don’t have to upgrade your hardware and software. 

Venn is the software we are using due to its features. It would be better to have the back end more efficient.

We use Venn for our BYOD employees since we have implemented the remote work model. Remote work has become the 'new normal' for our work set-up after the pandemic since most employees wanted to have more flexibility and cut down the time they spent commuting to work.

Having BYOD employees helps us save in terms of company expenses since we do not have to buy new computers for every employee and replace outdated devices every three to five years. Venn Software helps us easily set up new employees to work without technical latency matters.

Venn Software helps us reduce costs as compared to using VDI since we were able to allow BYOD policy to our new employees. 

It has narrowed our management responsibility because it reduces the scope and cost of supporting, securing, onboarding, and off-boarding remote workers. It is also easy to manage since we have a dashboard to check all the activities and applications being used inside the software. 

We are happy with the outcome and will continue to use it as we expand our remote work employees.

It is so easy to deploy. We were just given a link to download it onto our device, and it happened in less than five minutes. After that, we just need to set up our mobile device for authentication purposes. 

It is hassle-free. We don't need to go to the physical office, and it only requires minimal supervision or assistance from our IT Team. 

We are onboarding new employees faster than ever before, compared to when we were using VDI, when we experienced a lot of technical issues and sometimes had to be on-premise.

There is one minor area of improvement for Venn. Compatibility. Currently, Venn only uses two platforms/applications: Windows and Mac. It would be great if they could also add more platforms since some BYOD employees might be using an application other than Windows or Mac - for example, Linux. This should be considered in the next update or release of the new version. 

That said, overall, Venn Software is working well, and we are happy with the purchase and would recommend it to companies who are looking to implement/transition to BYOD.
