For security, we haven't had any known security issues or attacks because we've been protected by Sophos.
We can easily manage the devices because it's already in the cloud. For example, if any phone that belongs to the company is lost, we can easily erase the data.
Other features that I find most appealing:
- The cloud technology
- The cheaper cost
- The ease of management.
I have not faced any service issues. The known vulnerabilities have already been patched.
So, I've heard that the application might have issues with other software.
I have been using it for three years now.
It is used across all the departments in my company.
For support, we have a dedicated team from our vendor. We don't directly engage with Sophos.
My previous company used a different solution. My current company had already chosen Sophos. Based on our research, and considering budget and uptime, they are one of the leaders in the industry.
Sophos is very simple and direct to the point. I cannot recall any challenges with the deployment process.
Deployment time:
For a single device, it only takes two to three minutes, it also depends on the connectivity. But with a reliable connection, it takes only two to three minutes to install the software. Once installed, as long as there is an internet connection, the device can be discovered in our cloud deployment.
Our network support team works on Sophos. I believe we have integrated it into our Active Directory.
Deployment model: The subscription itself, Sophos Central, is already cloud-based. It's software as a service, directly from Sophos.
I use the free version included in our subscription. There's another license with more features, and it's not really expensive compared to others.
So, it was a fairly priced product. I would rate the pricing a seven out of ten.
Based on our current needs, we don't need to buy any extra services from Sophos.
Overall, I would rate it an eight out of ten. I would recommend it to other users.
