Pros
"We can manage the entire system across the network and troubleshoot the pain points."

More Juniper Mist Premium Analytics Pros →

"The most valuable feature for us was the ability to monitor sites and get a nice overview of all the data in a single view."

More TruView Pros →

"It handles the basics of monitoring.""We no longer have to manually search for problems because we are alerted when something in the network goes down.""The documentation is very good.""It is stable.""The threshold alerting is the most valuable feature.""The most important features of WhatsUp Gold are the server health and uptime it provides. Additionally, WhatsUp Gold is a Windows-based solution which is a benefit.""The most valuable feature of WhatsUp Gold is NetFlow and the virtualized maps.""Auto scanning is most valuable. It looks for rogue devices on your network."

More WhatsUp Gold Pros →

Cons
"The Wi-Fi side needs improvement."

More Juniper Mist Premium Analytics Cons →

"One area that could be improved is the reporting features. In the version transformation from ten to eleven, the platform changed from a Windows-based platform to a Linux-based platform. As a result, the previous reporting feature using Crystal Reports was no longer available. Instead, we had to generate PDF dashboard reports, which were not as flexible."

More TruView Cons →

"The licensing model could be improved. Right now, the levels are too far apart. This causes the solution to be more expensive than it needs to be.""WhatsUp Gold should work on real-time monitoring and configuration management. If they succeed in doing this, the solution will cover all the network troubleshooting aspects and will be a benefit.""I might like to see a better interface in the future.""The interface needs some work.""I would like to see better integration with switches so that you can see what is connected to each port, what the traffic is, and have a network map automatically generated.""Adding on services increases the cost and on the version we have there is no option for ATM monitoring.""Pricing is too high relative to how many devices we use. The price list is not linear to number of devices.""Users want SMS available via Whatsapp Gold. They don't want to go through third party SMS servers. The solution should work to make this possible."
