Reduces the time to detect and respond with moderate pricing
The centralized control feature is excellent. It provides a user-friendly interface for managing items and active endpoints, making it easy for central managers to control the network. I recommend it, but we need some documentation or a presentation from Seqrite. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

World-class support and highly effective for application control and elevation
Their product is solid. I have a hard time complaining much about it because when we do find little things, they are usually interface-related or related to things that would be nice to have. Their idea portal, unlike so many other vendors we deal with, shows movement. At least four to eight features of ThreatLocker exist because I made a request in the last five years, and it became a feature of the actual product. When it comes to improvements, we moved the product as customers, and we got to move the product by making suggestions. They seem to be very reactive to it, so there is not a whole lot that they actively need to change right now. It is one of those situations where when we run into something that would be nice to have, it happens. They make it work.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Seqrite has significantly reduced the time it takes to detect and respond."
"The solution installs very easily."
"ThreatLocker Zero Trust Endpoint Protection Platform has helped us protect our environments and have more meaningful requests for access as well as meaningful logging for response."
"Allowlisting, in general, is valuable because it allows us to have a lot more granular control over what is executed on a desktop. We are also able to ringfence known vectors of attack through Office applications, email, browsers, etc."
"The interface is clean and well-organized, making it simple to navigate and find what we need."
"I would rate it a ten out of ten."
"ThreatLocker Zero Trust Endpoint Protection Platform's ability to block access to unauthorized applications has been excellent."
"Overall, I would rate ThreatLocker Zero Trust Endpoint Protection Platform a ten out of ten."
"Being able to protect and trust nothing by default, known as zero trust, is the most important feature to me."
"Customer service is good. The Cyber Hero program ensures there is always someone available to help."

Cons

"The solution should focus on security, documentation, and simplicity for beginners."
"The security is too week and needs improvement."
"Some reporting areas need improvement. We need to generate more reports."
"I'm not sure if I'm using it wrong; however, I find that I have to babysit it too much."
"Some reporting areas need improvement."
"I find that the learning mode is too accessible. Technicians sometimes default to it instead of manually building policy controls. I would prefer the learning mode to be harder to access, ideally hidden behind a layer that requires creating at least one policy first before using the learning mode as a supplement."
"The company should strive to stay ahead of all the developments happening externally. If their progress accelerates more rapidly than the ongoing changes outside, it would prove advantageous."
"If ThreatLocker can design or build something for mobile devices, that would be brilliant."
"I was discussing with someone the other day, and it seems there is currently no solution for mobile users."
"One of the things I would really like is the ability to create custom groups and assign machines to them."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing works fine for me. It's very reasonably priced."
"I do not deal with pricing, but I assume it is cost-effective for us. We choose a solution based on functionality and affordability."
"Its price is fair. They have added some additional things to it beyond allowlisting. They are up-charging for them, but in terms of the value we get and the way it impacts us, we get a bang for our buck with ThreatLocker than a lot of our other security tools."
"I can't complain. Cheaper would always be nice, but I think it's reasonable compared to other software in the cybersecurity market."
"The pricing is reasonable and normal. I do not have any problems with the cost."
"Others say ThreatLocker is too expensive, and I tell them they're dreaming. It's well-priced for what it does."
"I find ThreatLocker's pricing to be reasonable for the services it provides."
"So far, it has been great. I have no complaints. Of course, everybody wishes it was cheaper."
