Decades of use have delivered secure, customizable control for public sector operations and finance
I have just completed three assessments: one on inventory demand planning, another on using artificial intelligence to bring supplier contracts in portable document format directly into PeopleSoft. PeopleSoft works both internally as well as with third-party products that integrate seamlessly with PeopleSoft. PeopleSoft operates both from a need-to-know-only basis as well as being able at the same time to do group purchase and realize large quantity purchase discounts. My clients have used marketplaces, and it is really industry-specific whether they use one or not, or if there is even one available. I would rate this product nine out of ten.

Pros

"PeopleSoft automatically generates code, making it easier to integrate with third-party or internal systems."
"The breadcrumb approach to navigation in PeopleSoft is good. nVision is also a good supplement."
"We've had a really excellent customer experience with it because of two main features -- it's easy to upgrade and it interfaces well with other systems."
"It is a very stable ERP solution, supported on Oracle Cloud and providing extensive features such as perfect load balancing and automatic scaling of the ERP deployment to handle millions of users."
"We use a lot of typical cases from PeopleSoft, for example, solutions for security, business performance, monitoring processes, and a lot of training."
"PeopleSoft is scalable."
"The most valuable feature is the module integration, which saves time through transclusion - using a single record across multiple modules."
"Customer Service: Excellent, since Oracle support is always available."
"Technical support is excellent."
"Simple to use Easy setup Cloud-based Easy foundation setup (companies, locations, employee data, etc.) Employees can log in from any internet browser No local installation and support is required."
"The ability to have a whole system with SilkRoad works well, as we can manage most of the functions of an HR department."

Cons

"There can occasionally be complexity in the initial setup."
"The Time and Labor module is not that flexible."
"The whole systematic flow of any query raised to HR should be improved."
"From an administration perspective, I think Oracle needs more clarity on their road map as to where they are going to improve the product."

"I wasn't part of the team that originally implemented it, but I was involved in upgrades. I think it was extremely difficult."

"The product is designed for smaller companies, so scalability is an issue."
