We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable features of Oracle HCM Cloud are the easy ability to customize the solution and applications. Additionally, the solution updates the solution""The most valuable feature of Oracle HCM Cloud is its integration.""It is very user-friendly. Most of the UI is very intuitive so you don't need to follow a course to follow it up.""What I like most about Oracle HCM Cloud is that I didn't see any area that needs to be dramatically improved. I also appreciate that it has good integration with other Oracle products. The process of integrating Oracle HCM Cloud is rather explanatory. I also found the Oracle library to be helpful. As Oracle HCM Cloud is quite a robust solution, I like it versus other solutions. I like the people at Oracle.""Oracle HCM Cloud adds the latest features on a quarterly basis to the cloud, which makes it very easy for customers to adapt to the new features.""What I like best about Oracle HCM Cloud is that its configuration is okay. I also like it in terms of updates. Product updates that take place from time to time improve Oracle HCM Cloud. What I also found valuable in the product is that since it's on cloud, you can work with it from any place.""Our overall evaluation of Oracle HCM Cloud as a general ledger tool is mixed. It is a comprehensive and versatile piece of software.""The core part and the talent management part are most valuable."

"I think it's perfect that every requirement has flexibility in how it is handled, and that there are several workarounds for any problem we are looking to solve. Each problem has multiple solutions, so it gives us a lot of flexibility in terms of processes.""What I like the most is the KPI management formula.""This solution can be used for reporting related to employee information and contacts""Provides an open architecture and an open platform so it can coexist with other systems.""The most valuable features of SAP SuccessFactors are onboarding, recruiting, marketing, and performance.""Scalability-wise, I rate the solution an eight out of ten...It is a stable solution.""It covers all the everyday functions of the employee life cycle.""All of SuccessFactors' features are useful, but there are several modules within SuccessFactors that I find handy. You have Employee Central, which manages employee records within the system. It manages all the information about an employee, including names, addresses, account numbers, positions, org charts, etc. It also handles performance reviews and KPIs for employees within an organization. Then you have succession planning and development as well."

"I like UKG's integration.""The fact that I can see the whole HR information in a single point is valuable. There is a unified view of everything, which is good. Previously, we had many different systems for each part of the information. Now, it is all centralized. It is very good.""The solution's UI is good. Also, it is very easy to use.""UKG allows us to customize our home screen so that we can easily monitor important items on a daily basis.""The employee self-service feature is most valuable. This is the restaurant industry, and they have a mobile app that allows employees to go in and manage their data. So, employees can manage direct deposit accounts, emergency contacts, and other things in the app. That's definitely the biggest benefit.""It is much easier to use and the customer service is better than our previous solution.""I have found the most valuable feature to be business intelligence and Cognos reporting.""The solution has improved our organization by helping us cut hours and lessen our labor force. It saved us probably over $100,000 in just the last couple of years."

Cons
"The support from Oracle HCM Cloud is great, they are responsive and helpful. However, they still could improve.""I was part of a program I went to where I had a discussion on the latest innovation of the Oracle HCM. I think some of the newer technology innovations, such as gamification and consumerization are areas that could be improved.""It would be very nice if we were able to roll back transactions from data that was loaded with the data loader.""The solution has much room for improvement in all the modules.""I would like to see improvements in the user experience, specifically reducing the number of clicks required to achieve desired outcomes. Additionally, enhancing the look and feel of the front end and allowing for a greater level of configuration would be beneficial. Its pricing should be less.""The performance and reaction time can be improved.""I would like to see more direct access for both human resources and employees without so many screens to navigate.""The data uploading part and backup could be better. They are a bit complex. Oracle is continuously changing it from one functionality to another. It's a bit unstable right now, and it's basically on the backend data upload part. If I have to upload, for example, data for 100 employees, it's a bit of a challenge for an end-user. It can be difficult if you're not a technical person and an end-user like me. I administer the platform, and if I get a request to upload and I'm not a technical person, then I'm just lost. I have to do some research and then complete the task. But it's evolving, and I hope it's more user-friendly in the future. In the next release, I would like a more stable mobile application. The current version isn't very stable. It takes time to open, and although they have come up with new UI pages, a few open areas need to be addressed. I would also like to see more robust and user-friendly data uploading techniques that would be helpful for end users like us. We don't have a technical background, and we just want to upload the data for our day-to-day operations."

More Oracle HCM Cloud Cons →

"SAP resources are at the high end and anything you want to change or any customization is expensive.""I would like to be able to configure objects from instances, not from import and export files.""The Reporting/Analytics and User Interface need improvement.""There's room for improvement in SAP SuccessFactors, particularly in terms of innovation. I'd like more flexibility in its functionality and more customization. In terms of what additional feature I'd like to see in the next release of the product, it depends on the module because you have various modules in SAP SuccessFactors, so it's easier to go module by module and understand what features you have in each module. The product has a lot of features coming up, but the product being more mobile, or having mobile features would be nice.""It's a bit complicated to make a change in the tool... It is time-consuming.""SAP SuccessFactors needs to improve the LMS and performance management.""We lack information regarding how to build a network.""It is not that user-friendly. It can be made more user-friendly."

More SAP SuccessFactors Cons →

"The navigation on the screen could be better. Sometimes, I have to dig a little bit deep to find what I need. Everything is there. It just needs to be a little bit smoother.""Reporting is always a hurdle for any user just because it is so extensive. They provide a lot of out-of-the-box reports, but it is something that you always need to work on because you need more advanced writing of reports.""The solution could improve by simplifying it even more core reports, such as more sample reports, more generic reports that you can edit and improve on yourself.""One area where UKG could improve is in its ability to understand its own competency and then work hard to improve it.""UKG could be a little more flexible in some areas.""The solution could use better reporting with standard reports. We use the Cognos platform in BI for a lot of our reporting. However, they need to have more robust standard reporting available to their user base.""I would like to see more functionality in the next release to be able to get hours and dollars per calendar month rather than just by payroll in the Business Intelligence reports.""I would like the capability to use UKG as a single platform without the need to alternate between systems."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "On an annual basis, we pay about $25,000 for our company. This includes the VAT, support, upgrades and everything else."
  • "Oracle HCM offers many features at a low price."
  • "On average, it's not a cheap solution."
  • "It has a licensing cost. It has a cloud-based subscription, which is quite cheap."
  • "The solution is expensive."
  • "Licensing fees are on a yearly basis."
  • "There is a license required for the use of this solution and we are on an annual license."
  • "I cannot comment on the cost, as this is handled by a different team."
  • More Oracle HCM Cloud Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "The licensing fees are based on the number of modules that are being used, and the number of users."
  • "I don't want to comment on the license cost, to be honest. It could be about $1,000 approximately per customer. However, it's very flexible in terms of the licensing costs depending on the volume and depending on the deal of installation."
  • "If you go by best practices and do it right from the outset, the setup won't be a costly endeavor. In terms of setup, there is a lot of flexibility compared to three years ago."
  • "It could be cheaper."
  • "We have a yearly license. There are no additional costs."
  • "SAP SuccessFactors requires an annual subscription."
  • "It is not expensive because it is a complete suite with a module-based cost."
  • "For SAP, the product is pricey, both CAPEX and the OPEX. It's something that could be improved."
  • More SAP SuccessFactors Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "I wasn't involved in the pricing part. I'm a user, and I believe it is based on the user count. One thing that is nice about Ultimate is that you can learn how to use the system without additional fees. The learning aspect is the life of a product, and the training was a huge reason why we went with Ultimate. We did have some integration costs. They were a part of the implementation because of the integrations to other systems that we included in our implementation."
  • "While I am unsure of the licensing cost itself, the total cost of implementation and licensing for a company with over 5000 employees would be around 6,00,000. So, there are additional costs beyond licensing."
