Fully-featured, good performance, and easy to use and install
We are using it to back up the software across the network to a remote server It is fully featured. It has allowed me to do everything I wanted to do. It is also very easy to use and install. It is pretty self-explanatory, and their support was also very good. Everything is fine. The user…

Long-term integration has supported real-time data exchange and simplified adapter-based workflows
The challenges I have faced with TIBCO BusinessWorks mostly relate to financial applications that do not come with those adapters, so that requires custom coding. The features currently in TIBCO BusinessWorks are good enough, but going forward, as we are doing a lot of AI-based integrations, I would like to see TIBCO come up with more prompt-driven configurations rather than people having to understand deep technology. AI-driven features in TIBCO BusinessWorks would be beneficial, so that our business tech BA can do the development rather than needing programmers. More artificial intelligence functionality would help so people do not have to code.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Customer Service: We have a support contract with Jumpmind. The support resources are readily available and provide expert support to any questions."
"It is fully featured. It has allowed me to do everything I wanted to do."
"It is fully featured, has allowed me to do everything I wanted to do, is very easy to use and install, is pretty self-explanatory, and their support was also very good."
"Areas for improvement would be the cloud fitness of the product and the ease of migrating to newer versions."
"It is very valuable for my work, helping me communicate with other branches, parse data, and change data formats to respond to the front channels with the correct format."
"Good performance and reliability."
"Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten…On a scale from one to ten, where one is difficult, and ten is easy, I rate the initial setup a nine."
"It is very stable. It is a market leader, and it has connectors to many of the legacy systems. It also has enterprise cloud connectors."
"It is a seamless and sophisticated tool, we can operate everything and scale up and down the instances, and it is also very user-friendly with a good overall experience."
"It is a very robust system."
"The high availability, tolerance, and load balancing features are top-notch, and its scalability features are also pretty cool."

Cons

"The user interface could improve. We are looking at some cloud-based databases, and I don't think they support that."
"The cost has room for improvement."
"The solution’s customer support should be improved."
"Cloud fitness is lacking"
"In TIBCO BusinessWorks, the problem is that there are multiple plugins that increase the number of product installations."
"Pricing is not one of its strengths. Using Tibco BusinessWorks implies adopting a non-trivial set of products (Hawk, Rendez-vous, EMS in most cases), and previous cost models enabled scalability on installation and deployment."
"The cost of the solution has room for improvement."
"The initial setup process was not simple."
"The technical support's turnaround time is an area where TIBCO needs to consider improvements...Getting support from TIBCO on a particular issue takes a lot of turnaround time."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"The solution is too expensive. It's one of the most expensive solutions out there, particularly because there are so many open-source competitors on the market. I don't know the exact numbers, however."
"It is a bit expensive for medium-sized companies. If you are migrating from the current version to the container-supported version, it is quite expensive. The existing licensing will not work because the product platform itself is different."
"I give the cost of the solution a four out of ten."
"Licensing scheme is too rigid"
"I don't have the prices of the products, but I know that TIBCO is not a cheap solution. I think that this solution is more suitable for large companies because I don't think that small- or medium-sized companies would have the money for this solution. WSO2 has the community version for free, so many of the smaller companies can use it. I'm not sure what the prices are for support, though, so I suppose the support for WSO2 is not cheap either."
"The license is expensive, and I would rate it one out of ten."
"My understanding is that the licensing is very costly."
"The product is not cheap."
