Offers advanced filtering features and benefits from improved licensing and performance
There is a licensing issue with Intercept X Endpoint. Their licenses are user-based. Most of our customers use per device licenses, and they need per device licenses because they use one PC for multiple accounts. This creates a problem. There was one customer who complained about the slowness of PCs using Intercept X Endpoint. They use minor performance PCs, which causes their PCs to become slow.

Patch management and integration capabilities drive effective endpoint response management
We work with Kaspersky and two modalities: the Censi final and Censi license. Most of our clients work in financial areas and industry. Our regular enterprise business relies on these solutions Kaspersky is viable with ADR; the Endpoint Detection response feature and the BitLocker management…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most effective features of Intercept X Endpoint for threat prevention are ransomware protection, miscellaneous behavior detection, and network threat protection."
"We find all features valuable. It has zero-day protection, which is the most valuable feature of Intercept X. We have Intercept X with EDR. EDR is a very important feature. It gives an idea about the source of a particular attack. An administrator gets to know everything, which helps in understanding the things that need to be done or protected in the organization. Based on this information, an administrator can decide what needs to open or allowed in the network. Without EDR, Intercept X is like an antivirus, and the administrator won't get to know the things going on at the organizational level. I recommend purchasing an EDR solution for every organization."
"It is very easy to set up and easy to use. It is also not resource-intensive."
"The Managed Detection and Response service provided by Intercept X Endpoint is highly valuable. With a team of 600-700 individuals monitoring systems, they swiftly respond to attacks, either informing us to isolate or directly removing threats. This full MDR service is especially recommended for sectors like finance, where data security is critical. The deep learning technology within Intercept X Endpoint enhances our security posture by analyzing behaviors and algorithms to differentiate between legitimate users and threats, effectively preventing attacks on our network infrastructure."
"Machine learning is used to detect the threat and it does so by prioritizing the suspicious activities."
"The thing that I like about it is the synchronized security. You can tie endpoint protection and firewalls and a whole range of other services and products. You can get your servers taken in under this."
"It is a stable solution. Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."
"The client isolation feature is a very effective feature."
"The solution does a good job of filtering and blocking unusual traffic."
"The solution's most valuable features are that it offers very strong encryption and acts as an antivirus product."
"The solution provides high-end security that is critical for financial institutions and bankers."
"We particularly appreciate how scalable this solution is, as we often need to increase our end-user numbers."
"The most valuable features are the reports."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response is a stable solution."
"We've found the solution to be stable."
"The most valuable feature of Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response is security. It has better security than other solutions, such as Symantec."

Cons

"In my opinion, there have been significant developments in the product. In my opinion, I don’t have any suggestions as of now, however I can suggest a cost deduction which will be beneficial for all the parties. It will also relieve our budget and benefit our team."
"It doesn't filter with the QUIC protocol web policies."
"The initial setup can be difficult if you don't come in with at least some knowledge about the product."
"The problem is that if you have a lot of different components going on, each managed under a different umbrella, then you're going to be spending a lot of time hopping back and forth between the different components to see, "Well, I got hit here. What did my firewall see? I got hit in the firewall, the firewall says it allowed that attack in, did it land on anything to compromise any of my endpoints?""
"The graphical interface could improve. Additionally, adding less expensive mobile device support would be helpful. Other solutions have this feature."
"The performance is very slow and should be faster."
"They should keep doing what they're doing. Both of them have entered the EDR/MDR space, and they're keeping up with their competitors. I have a hard time understanding why their capabilities aren't garnering more attention."
"It has a performance hit on a local laptop. There's an agent installed and we are bothered a lot by it because it seems to be using a lot of computer resources."
"There are some cases that take three days to deal with. It's too long."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Expert needs to include a traffic interface."
"I am not happy with Kaspersky's support since basic support is very cool unless you pay for some advanced support, in which you get better responses and feedback from Kaspersky's team."
"The solution does not offer much support to its users in Spanish, so I would like to see them offer more support in Spanish."
"It's not a simple implementation."
"The installation process could be more streamlined."
"The system can be heavy, slowing down performance."
"They should include XDR features in the solution."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing is actually quite reasonable."
"The price of Sophos Intercept X is expensive. The license is paid on an annual basis. There are extra features that can be added depending on the endpoints. The solution is priced twice as much as the Comodo solution."
"We have bought a three-year license."
"The solution requires an annual subscription."
"I find the pricing to be a little bit expensive, although it is acceptable, for now."
"You can purchase a license for one to three years."

"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing ten out of ten."
"We have been satisfied with the license of the solution."
"The price of Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response is in the middle range compared to competitors. The pricing model is based on the users using the solutions. The cost for us is approximately 2200 Algerian dinars. The price of the solution could be reduced."
