Used for endpoint security, ransomware protection, virus protection, and server security
Intercept X Endpoint is deployed on the cloud in our organization. Previously, we had two ransomware attacks when we were using Kaspersky as an endpoint security. We didn't face any ransomware attacks after using Intercept X Endpoint for endpoint security. Intercept X Endpoint has simplified our malware detection. Since we have already implemented the policies in the cloud, all the malware is automatically detected. The solution also detects and removes new malware that can also come from the cloud AI engine. Integrating Intercept X Endpoint with our current security infrastructure was very easy. In my opinion, Sophos is a better solution because we are using Sophos endpoint security and network security. These two things sync with each other and monitor the packets and network traffic. No other vendor has simultaneous devices to check everything. I would recommend the solution to other users. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

Patch management and integration capabilities drive effective endpoint response management
We work with Kaspersky and two modalities: the Censi final and Censi license. Most of our clients work in financial areas and industry. Our regular enterprise business relies on these solutions Kaspersky is viable with ADR; the Endpoint Detection response feature and the BitLocker management…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Technical support is responsive and adept."
"The most valuable feature of Sophos Intercept X is a web filtering and URL sanity checks. Overall the solution is well balanced with all its features."
"The most valuable feature of Sophos Intercept X is cloud management."
"Offers artificial intelligence, security metrics and a lot of information gathered to make decisions."
"The most valuable feature is the anti-ransomware capability. It's been helpful because we have been seeing a lot of information around what the ransomware hit."
"I consider the heuristics to be most valuable, the fact that the solution does not work solely on signatures."
"We have found the pricing to be reasonable."
"The Managed Detection and Response service provided by Intercept X Endpoint is highly valuable. With a team of 600-700 individuals monitoring systems, they swiftly respond to attacks, either informing us to isolate or directly removing threats. This full MDR service is especially recommended for sectors like finance, where data security is critical. The deep learning technology within Intercept X Endpoint enhances our security posture by analyzing behaviors and algorithms to differentiate between legitimate users and threats, effectively preventing attacks on our network infrastructure."
"Kaspersky is viable with ADR."
"The most valuable feature is Endpoint's management."
"Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."
"We can scale the solution."
"The detection engine running on endpoints works very well and provides a good protection level."
"Encryption is the most valuable feature. It creates an encryption tunnel from your location to the delivery address."
"It's scalable enough for us."
"This solution is quite responsive and the tech support engineers are kind and good."

Cons

"The technical support is the lone sore-point when dealing with this product."
"The deployment part needs to be improved."
"The initial setup can be difficult if you don't come in with at least some knowledge about the product."
"Needs more flexible reporting, particularly for medium to large size companies."
"We would like more application control in order to be able to schedule times and access."
"From the management side, we receive detailed information. Sophos has many features, such as Threat Hunting but that comes with the XDR version of the solution. There's Sophos Intercept X and then there's Sophos Intercept X with XDR technology. We bought the XDR and then now the MTR, Managed Threat Response version available too. They have different packages for clients which gives them different options to pick from. If Sophos could combine more features into one package it would be beneficial."
"It would be beneficial if you could expand support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 without charging an additional fee."
"The tool is not stable on Linux systems."
"If it covered more products, it would improve the XDR."
"The solution can improve by providing automatic fixing of vulnerabilities and reducing the resources used in the server component and endpoint agent. They are very bulky and use a lot of CPU, memory, and hard drive resources."
"They should include XDR features in the solution."
"Could include some additional protection."
"The license prices for this solution are quite high."
"Kaspersky EDR lacks protection from recent ransomware."
"I would like to integrate Kaspersky with my Log Collector SIEM. Right now that's not possible."
"There are some cases that take three days to deal with. It's too long."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"They offer both monthly and yearly licenses."
"The solution’s pricing is high."
"I am not sure about the cost. I would guess it to be between $50 to $60 per license. This would be the cost of the overall subscription. There is no additional fee."
"While I do not have much experience dealing with the price, we have been entitled to a substantial discount on the solution in our use of it as an educational tool."
"The solution offers both a three-year license and an annual license. I would rate the product's pricing a one out of ten."
"We have bought a three-year license."
"The pricing is average for software like this, but you can purchase additional services if you wish."
"You can purchase a license for one to three years."
"The price of the solution could be reduced."
"The license for EDR costs about 1,000 pesos per user. I would rate the pricing as four out of five."
"The solution’s pricing is okay."
"The solution isn't the cheapest considering what you get. I would rate the pricing as seven out of ten."
"Pricing for Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response is so-so when you compare it with its competitors. Its pricing isn't cheap nor expensive."
"Endpoint's pricing is good, especially compared to expensive solutions like Sophos."
"We were on a three-year license to use Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response. The price could be better."
"There is an annual license to use Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response. The price overall is a bit expensive when compared to other solutions. There are not any additional fees other than the license."
