In terms of improvements, we can add new features that customers are demanding, such as service and quality improvements. For instance, we could have a model to predict the expected quality, which can be imported and developed as a new feature. We can improve quality features, and there is room for enhancement. Additionally, we can also improve service-related features by adding new functionalities. Each department has its workflow. But there is a hierarchy for pricing, and managers should be approached in such cases. So, there can be a more stabilized way of having a single point of contact to approach at any time. It is already there, but some more enhancements would be good. Regarding integration, specific third-party tools are not accepted, for example, on the old version of IBM or Oracle. Some more workloads need to be done to integrate those tools, and we can have some enhancements on integration. ION is a very good tool, and we use web services already. The old system of using RESTful APIs has been eradicated, and the super approval trial is good. So, this tool is a refined way of working with services where it integrates any third-party tool. But, some of the older versions may need additional adjustments to integrate properly.

Excellent user experience with ease of use and reliable technical support
When SAP CRM does the maintenance, it can take a long time, which can impact business continuity because we have to wait for the maintenance team to finish their work. Maybe if SAP could establish how you can access the tool using a cloud-based environment that would be virtualization, that would be better.

"We use SAP CRM for customer service improvement. The main idea is to make sure our team has the right information when talking to customers. This helps them process things like price approvals for quotes faster. The goal is to make the product more efficient, and faster, and, in the end, provide better customer service."
"What I found most valuable in SAP CRM is its multitenancy, and you can use it from your website, SMS, and even social media, and it's all integrated, so my company is trying to leverage on all of those."

Cons

"Regarding integration, specific third-party tools are not accepted, for example, on the old version of IBM or Oracle."
"Pricing is always an area where there is room for improvement."
"There should be better clarity and agreement on all interfaces and requirements before signing a contract. This would avoid unexpected costs and complications later on."
"In Germany, there aren't enough IT specialists for customization and software development, causing projects to take too long."
"For the quality department, there is a module called quality, and I feel it has to be a little bit simplified."
"The price of the solution is not good. In Europe, it's difficult to find people who already know Infor, which was a problem during implementation."
"In Germany, there aren't enough IT specialists for customization and software development, causing projects to take too long."
"The platform's distribution features need enhancement."
"There are quite a lot of missing parts in SAP CRM, which is why we do a lot of customization. Not everything is there, and some things need custom coding to cater to specific needs. It is not a plug-and-play solution with standard features, and we have to customize quite a lot."
"There could be some specific configurable options on the UI level to improve visibility."
"There is a lot of missing data and data latency issues between the different modules of SAP CRM, which creates a lot of problems."
"What I see as a challenge against our competitor is that Salesforce comes with more flexibility, for enhancement purposes, whereas the SAP CRM Cloud is more robust and rigid. It's not flexible to implement any bespoke solution."
"The product's pricing could be better."
"We would like the coding system within this solution to be more straightforward when carrying out general entry tasks."
"The implementation and integrations could be better. After we went into the production environment, we had some issues. Most of them were with the ERP integration. Many other issues were around the client's integrations between the ERP and CRM platforms. It could be more user-friendly. It wasn't very user-friendly initially, but now it's easier for them to use. Now, the users can use that platform better than at the beginning. We would like to see reports with more analytic features and artificial intelligence in the next release. For example, show more metrics and KPIs and more dynamic dashboards. Because the platform has some models, but it's not easy to use. It's a little complex."
"SAP CRM could improve in the area of user-friendliness. It would help if you had an engineer to do the administration. The migration is complex when moving from the old version to the latest version."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I feel it is not very cheap, very economical but also not very expensive."
"As for pricing, I secured a favorable deal at around $80,000 yearly for five years, but it was a one-time opportunity."
"The platform's pricing depends on the specific number of users."
"The pricing is not built on a standard model."
"The product is expensive. I rate the pricing a five out of ten."
"It is a cost-effective solution."
"For on-premise installations, the licensing is yearly."
"I'm working for a German company, but I'm located in Portugal. In the German market, Infor's price isn't an issue for clients, but Infor is losing market share every year to SAP in Portugal. Portuguese clients find SAP more affordable. Infor needs to work on this."
"SAP CRM is an expensive product."
"They should reduce the price to target small businesses."
"The company has seen an increase in revenue."
"We have to pay a yearly licensing fee for SAP CRM, which is expensive."
"Its price is reasonable. As compared to other CRMs, this CRM is competitively priced. They have multiple flavors with different sets of functionality. Pricing is based on the flavor that suits your requirement. If you have more users, the cost will come down."
"The licensing model for SAP CRM is customer-based."
"SAP CRM is not suitable for smaller businesses because it is expensive. The larger businesses would be able to handle the cost."
"There is a license required to use SAP CRM."
