Integration with Kubernetes and flexibility improve our application deployment process
The logging could be improved; there's currently no intuitive way to filter logs on the Google console, especially for individuals who are not familiar with query languages. Our non-technical users find it difficult to access logs. Additionally, the user interface could be more user-friendly and intuitive compared to our previous experience with AWS ( /products/amazon-aws-reviews ).

Excellent support but it is a costly solution
The solution is working okay. But we are facing issues with the network because in our country, Yemen, we have some trouble. The country is very crazy because of the war we have. So, we are facing issues with the network. Most of the customers complain about the network communicating with the Cloud. We went with the Oracle solution for Interconnect because they are the preferred solution for that. But it is very unstable and the customer refuses to deal with it. They cannot do anything because Oracle recommends a stable network but we do not have that.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The tool's most valuable feature is encryption. Google Cloud has reduced our operational costs and increased efficiency. For example, deploying production applications traditionally took about a month, but with Google Cloud, it now takes only a day or two. This also extends to monitoring, allowing us to identify and address issues faster than on-premises solutions."
"I like that it is simple to use."
"Google Cloud's most valuable features are its performance and ease of access."
"The most useful feature of Google Cloud is that it's basically completely managed or fully managed. There is no administration or maintenance needed from the user, and it's very simple to use."
"It is a stable solution."
"The performance is a valuable feature."
"Technical support has been good."
"It didn't take long to get everything set up and understand what was going on. Things are pretty clear."
"The initial setup was straightforward."

Cons

"Technical support needs help."
"There is currently no intuitive way to filter logs on the Google console, especially for individuals who are not familiar with query languages."
"Google Cloud does not have many build pipelines like Azure does."
"They could always offer even more storage at the base level."
"Google Cloud lacks some tools for database migration. I've only used MySQL and AWS in my career, so those are the only ones I can compare. AWS has a database migration tool that you can integrate with a cloud backup, so can take that backup and restore it in the AWS public cloud, but it's not the same with Google Cloud."
"Currently, in my region, they don't offer many services as they have just started. They need to wait on that."
"My only concern is that a number of the offerings are built on their own proprietary technologies which means means that, with respect to the offerings in Google Cloud, it's difficult to have a path to migrate to other cloud providers."
"Google Cloud should provide more introductory videos on how to get started. Currently, very few of these resources are available. Additionally, training on Google Cloud products is not very well streamlined. Users have to search for training, which can be quite complex."
"Most of the customers complain about the network communicating with the Cloud."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Google cloud is less expensive than other comparable solutions."
"Pricing for Google Cloud could be improved. It would be better if it were lower."
"Google Cloud should be divided into modules so that users can buy which module will satisfy them. The overall price of Google Cloud should be reduced, Microsoft is a little bit cheaper. However, if Google divided the cloud offering it would be better. For example, if someone wants to use only for OneDrive they should be able to purchase the service separately, it would reduce the price. There is a license required to use this solution for enterprises. There is a free account, which the users can increase the size of the space. Google cloud is used in most Android Mobile device operating systems."
"We use the NGO version so the cloud reasonably priced at $2 to $3 per month."
"Google Cloud is on the expensive side for us. I don't have exact figures on the cost per year or month."
"The best part of Google Cloud is that it is cheaper than the competitors."
"The cost might be $10 a month per user, which is about $300 a month in total."
"I am not familiar with the pricing, but I would guess that it is probably cheaper than Microsoft Suite"
