Continuous monitoring has strengthened payment security and now reduces incident impact quickly
There are specific details that can be improved in Deepwatch. After implementing it, we tracked both response time and threat detection accuracy using the SIEM dashboard. We measured response time using MTTD and MTTR. There are areas that can be improved, such as every alert having a timestamp for detection time and acknowledgment. We observed the MTTR dropping from a few hours to under one hour after using Deepwatch, so baseline metrics can be enhanced. Deepwatch can reduce alert fatigue since sometimes it generates a high volume of alerts that overwhelm our team. This can create too many alerts in a short amount of time, making it hard for our team to understand what to do. Additionally, the dashboard can be improved for better user-friendliness for end-users, requiring better visualization of MTTR, threat trends, and risk scoring. Improvements can also be made in more automated playbooks for automated response to common threats, and there is room for deeper integration capabilities, as integration with some internal tools may require additional effort.

AI-driven detection has accelerated phishing response and now protects endpoints without slowdown
The best features of SentinelOne Wayfinder Threat Detection and Response are obviously the AI-powered threat detection, which is the most sophisticated I have seen with any other tool. I also noticed that it does not affect the performance of the device, which is something great. I do not know how they have developed it, but it is really impressive. Additionally, I noticed deep visibility into the environment where we can track everything. If something is found, we can easily track it and get a bird's eye view of the overall attack visibility. The visibility feature allows us to easily provide root cause analysis to the respective people, which helps in faster incident investigation. We have seen great outcomes with SentinelOne Wayfinder Threat Detection and Response. First, we conducted a pilot proof of concept and noticed that SentinelOne Wayfinder Threat Detection and Response is very fast. Within a small amount of time, it is able to detect everything and protect the environment. The mean time to detection has been reduced drastically. For example, with other tools, when a phishing email comes in and an attack starts, we learn about these details later and cannot take a proactive approach. With SentinelOne Wayfinder Threat Detection and Response, the tool monitors registry changes and any suspicious executable files continuously. In our pilot use case, within five minutes it reported one suspicious activity involving high encryption from a phishing email. This is something amazing considering all the other tools in the market. The response capability is great. Earlier, we would learn about phishing and threats after two to three days. After conducting the proof of concept, we found that within hours we are notified about threats.

Pros

"Deepwatch positively impacts our organization by reducing incident response time because previously, there was no mechanism to follow up on incidents, such as any security breach in the payment gateway, and it has reduced response time by 40 to 60 percent while significantly improving threat detection accuracy with 24/7 monitoring even after business hours."
"One of the best features SentinelOne Wayfinder Threat Detection and Response offers is the Purple AI and behavioral detection capability, which is superior to traditional EDRs that rely solely on signatures."
"The best features of SentinelOne Wayfinder Threat Detection and Response are obviously the AI-powered threat detection, which is the most sophisticated I have seen with any other tool."
"SentinelOne has a rollback feature that has helped them gain popularity in the market. No other competitors of the solution including Cisco, Fortinet, or Cortex XDR have this feature. SentinelOne is a kernel-independent solution. We don’t need to check the kernel dependency on the Linux platform. They also commit to a 100 percent recovery from ransomware attacks. The solution has rollback features for ransomware on Windows."
"The initial setup process was straightforward."
"Using SentinelOne Vigilance has contributed to my team's focus on strategic initiatives."
"SentinelOne Vigilance is a very stable solution."
"The most valuable functions are automated pricing and ensuring the console is clean."

"My only complaint is that the knowledge base is not accessible to the customer."
"SentinelOne Vigilance doesn't have a direct connection with MSPs."
"The integration with Microsoft 365 for SentinelOne Singularity MDR isn't quite as effective as with Field Effect."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The licensing cost depends on the number of connected devices and whether you purchase additional services."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing an eight out of ten."
"The tool's pricing is slightly cheaper than other alternatives. It's not just about licensing costs; because we already have it implemented, we can save money on deployment and initial setup. Additionally, SentinelOne Vigilance is slightly cheaper in licensing, maybe around 10-15 percent cheaper."
