Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The detection and investigation capabilities are my favorite parts of the solution. It has good threat intelligence and threat-hunting features.""The initial setup was easy.""I find the incident management feature valuable because it identifies new types of viruses and sends an alert to the console administrator to check the hardware.""There are many different modules with this solution where vulnerability and inventory management can be carried out. The solution has a good dashboard and offers a lot of insights into your systems.""The threat intelligence of CrowdStrike Falcon is the most valuable feature.""What I found most valuable in CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is that it has a lot of monitoring dashboards and use cases, and I saw that it's a very good product, but my company has only tested it, so it's not been used for real use cases. My company hasn't tested the complete license for CrowdStrike Falcon Complete, so the team hasn't checked the open fiber rooms for zero-day attacks, IOAs and IOCs, or any indicators of fraudulent activities. I was also amazed at the solution and its licensing. My company did a competitive analysis of many EDR solutions, but it went with CrowdStrike Falcon Complete. It's one of the top-rated solutions on CyberRatings as well.""Falcon Complete's best feature is detection. The interface is also user-friendly.""EDR and Next-Generation Antivirus (NGAV) are good features. The Spotlight feature is also good, and it also can detect patching-related vulnerabilities."

Cons
"An MDM, Mobile Device Manager, should be added in the next release.""I want better integration with other security solutions; integrating with third-party apps wasn't as seamless as I expected.""What could be improved in CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is the threat hunting feature and the insights it provides, in particular, the variable analysis feature. Protection against zero-day threats and sandboxing could also be improved in CrowdStrike Falcon Complete. If you compare it with other solutions, it can go head-to-head, but the features I mentioned still need improvement.""We have also been using Cisco AMP for Endpoints for three years. We have received multiple detections in Cisco AMP for Endpoints, and we had to take some actions, whereas CrowdStrike has not detected anything critical since it has been implemented. Most of the incidents that it has detected are false positives. They should work on the false-positive issue. When it is implemented throughout the organization, it gets very difficult to check each false positive and investigate what is correct and what is not correct. It requires technical and manual intervention.""The performance slows down by between 10% and 40%, depending on what type of work the machine is doing.""Pricing is definitely a problem. It could be cheaper for licensing.""The support from CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is very fast. The support could improve if it was in the French language.""We have a problem with the CrowdStrike Falcon Complete agent. It was closing the communication with the network or other computers."

"Their support needs improvement. We have to chase the Customer Success Manager a lot to get things done. It should have more features in terms of portability. It should be more scalable on other endpoints such as mobile devices and BYOD."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "At approximately €60 per machine, per year, I think that it's a good price point."
  • "It is a fairly firm price. It is not the cheapest solution, but if you take the complete team into consideration, it is a great value."
  • "The average price is approximately $500 per customer."
  • "CrowdStrike is more expensive than SentinelOne. Licensing works on the number of agents and the modules you buy. CrowdStrike has different modules, such as Falcon, Falcon Overwatch, Falcon Complete, etc. The pricing depends upon the module that the customer wants. They have different Incident Response (IR) teams, which are very expensive."
  • "They are really reasonable for the services they are providing. When you add more endpoints, you are going to pay more for the license."
  • "Its price is very high. CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is 50% more expensive than Cisco AMP for Endpoints."
  • "There is a license for this solution and everything is included. However, The price of the could be lower."
  • "We have a yearly license, and it could be cheaper."
