A cloud solution for endpoint security with DLP
We shared a datasheet with the customer. The customer mentioned that MDM or DLP is included in the product, but she cannot utilize these features in AP Protection, even though they are mentioned in the datasheet. This creates an issue recommending the product to the customer since she cannot use these features. Therefore, when updating your datasheet, clarifying which features apply to the customer's product use is crucial. This clarity is beneficial for both parties. I provide the solution on-premises, but we conduct the POC on the Azure platform. Additionally, we are partners with both Microsoft and AWS. This enables us to offer the AWS and Azure platforms, whichever the customer prefers. Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.

Offers endpoint protection and data loss prevention functionality
The console is in the cloud, while some of the software runs on on-prem endpoint devices. We use Seqrite Endpoint Security as an antivirus product for its data loss prevention functionality. We configure it to define the types of files that can be attached to emails, and then we receive notifications regarding these actions. Most environments have a sizable number of endpoints. Typically, such environments already have a firewall, providing first-level protection. We have two resources to provide support. I rate the overall product an eight out of ten. It has still not been deployed in large numbers, so I'm unsure if it caters to all security environments. It can reasonably care for smaller setups of around a hundred user clients. For larger numbers of users, it might require a different kind of product.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature is the management of end-user machines."
"Auto Containment is a valuable feature."
"If you get attacked, your files will be safe, and you can work on your infected files."
"They offer the whole package. Remote monitoring and management (RMM) is included with it, which is pretty nice. They also have Windows patching and third-party patching. It was easy to use for protection. The containment engine was pretty nice for securing our environment."
"If you open up an application or a web browser, it puts a container in a sandbox area. So if there's some malicious code, it'll stick there. It also has way better protection for ransomware because it uses heuristics that are pretty effective. We've done a lot of tests with live malware, and it works really well."
"It's a very easy-to-use product."
"The tool is an open-source EDR with antivirus features. It also has remote support and patch management."
"Comodo Advanced Endpoint Protection allows our organization's clients to be managed and inventoried remotely."
"The update process and policy control are good."
"Endpoint Security's best features are inventory, asset management, and quick scanning."
"The setup process was easy for our remote clients and us as well."
"Seqrite Endpoint Security is a good solution."
"The solution's current features include antivirus, web filtering, file activity monitoring, PAM, firewall, IDS/IPS, and DLP. Though I'm not familiar with the whole solution, it is good."
"The convenience has been great."
"The most valuable features of the solution are DLP, XDR, and EDR functionalities."
"The most valuable feature is its endpoint protection, particularly the antivirus component. It has been very effective in protecting our clients, and since its installation, we haven't encountered any issues with compromised endpoints or virus impacts."

Cons

"The locking and backup capabilities of the solution can be improved."
"The menu could be cleaned up."
"Their support is not very good because they are very late to reply."
"The quality of the analysis and the product dashboard is a bit low compared to other providers."
"The licensing fees are high. The company should work to try to lower them for the customer."
"There are a few minor issues such as package updates and passwords."
"We'd like the solution to include advanced web filtering capabilities, similar to what Sophos offers."
"The solution's online documentation needs to be fine-tuned. It is not up to which solution currently has. There is some inconsistency in the knowledge present. I would like to see MDM in the solution's future releases."
"The product or service could be improved by incorporating SIEM integrations to enable the collection of logs."
"The interface is slow."
"The solution needs to improve stability."
"A handbook of known issues and quick fixes should be given so that troubleshooting and frustration are less."
"User management could be improved."
"I would like to see Seqrite add a remote profile so we can implement different policies for users connecting to the in-office LAN and those accessing the office network from home or a public internet connection."
"Deployment of Seqrite Endpoint Security is generally straightforward. The only complexity we encounter is that, since it is cloud-based, there can be delays in updating the endpoint's status."
"The solution's integration capabilities are moderate and could be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The product is very reasonably priced."
"It's a cost-effective solution"
"The price of this product should be lower."

"The tool's pricing is not very expensive and falls within the market price. The solution's licensing is on a yearly basis."
"The product is pricey."

"We pay approximately $1,500 for licenses for the solution."
"It is a cheaply priced product."
"There is no option to refund the money and unfortunately, we bought a three-year license, seeing that Quick Heal is a long-established player in the market."
"The licensing fee is 200 Bangladeshi Taka per client per year."
"The pricing is reasonable."
