We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"With the appropriate governance framework, properly trained business analysts can be empowered to design and build business solutions themselves.""I like the business process management engine. It's very detailed, and you can probably map any of the corporate workflow processes you come across in it compared to some of the other solutions out there. I can probably say that it has very good support to work in tandem with other RP solutions in the market. The software is still very user-friendly and integral, and they have pretty good online resources. The automation feature is pretty good, so is the integration feature.""One of the features I like is that when drawing any task, when putting a task on the process model canvas, I can simply click on it and see the other task icons for that task. It's just one quick, simple, straightforward connectivity from task to task.""Its cost is the most valuable. It is not as expensive. It is also easy to make different types of processes for the users.""The most valuable feature is that it is compatible with Visual Studio and .NET, and we can program it. Its speed is very good, and it is also stable and easy to deploy.""The interface, design, and accessible user manuals to help get started using the solution are valuable features in Bizagi.""The documentation capabilities are very good. Very structured documents and process versions are valuable features, and being able to communicate that to our customers is also a very good feature. It has a good balance between the effort and the result. So, you don't need to be too detailed. You can document while you are modeling, which is a very good feature.""Bizagi is flexible. I can share things with other consultants because it is the most commonly used software in my community. It has been a great and good resource for us in making sure that we adhere to the process."

Cons
"The free version could be better. Some of the templates and all the functionalities aren't available in the free version. I've been trying to check some maps, for example, organizational maps or a model on organization hierarchy. Apparently, there seems to be no template. You have to create your own. I am not sure if there are templates, but I've not really seen any. I think that there's room for improvement.""I'm not really satisfied with the reporting aspect.""For very large projects and deployments, the automated "One Click" deployment wizard can sometimes take a long time to complete.""The solution is a bit heavy on resources and has slowed down my computer.""Difficult to export in formats other than PDF.""The solution's interface could be a bit more user-friendly and I would like to see more integrations with other Office products, not just Office 365.""I don't know if it's a problem with my operating system or a Bizagi problem, but many times I see that when I try to connect different activities, they show up as not connected.""It would be useful if we can connect Bizagi to other solutions, such as a local financial solution or Power BI. It would also be good and helpful to be able to connect Bizagi to some services solutions. It should also support right-to-left languages, such as Arabic."

"They should increase their marketplace with existing tools so that connections are directly through connectors instead of API integrations."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "It has a very high price. Many clients complain about the price for maintaining the application on Bizagi."
  • "Make sure that your requirements are explicitly defined from the outset. This will help you choose the right setup and licensing for your needs."
  • "It is expensive."
  • "It is not expensive."
  • "We didn't use the licensed versions where you could exactly go into automatization. However, we looked at the pricing in the beginning, and the only thing that I remember is that it was too expensive for the things we were using because our clients would also have to license the product. One client said that it was too expensive for the benefit they get out of it."
  • "I'm trying the free unlimited version with unlimited use. But you have to pay to add some features."
  • "Some solutions are completely free. One would be the business process diagramming tool, the server beneath it, and the automation tool. You don't need to pay to map the business process, but you would need to when you want to execute any of the commands. So, basically, they lure you in with a free ride, and when you want to scale the solution, you'll have to pay for it."
  • "I used to be very pleased with the pricing. Now, it's a bit more complicated. I don't remember exactly, however, it might be $10 a month per user."
