Centralized visibility has improved cost governance and now drives data‑driven optimization
One area where AWS Tweaker could improve is in expanding its advanced analytics and predictive optimization capabilities, especially for organizations managing highly complex multi-cloud or large-scale enterprise environments, while the platform could also benefit from additional customization options in dashboards and reporting to provide teams with more flexibility in visualizing operational and financial data, and another improvement area could be deeper automation and remediation workflows where automation recommendations can be transformed into controlled automated actions with stronger governance and approval mechanisms, and I think continued UI refinement and broader integration support with other enterprise tools would enhance the overall user experience and operational efficiency. One additional improvement area I perceive could be around deeper AI-driven recommendations and smarter forecasting capabilities, especially for dynamic cloud environments where workloads change very frequently, while more granular policy-based governance controls, as well as enhanced automation for remediation workflows, could help reduce manual operational effort. I also think expanding integrations with third-party monitoring or security tools like security event information management tools or ITSM platforms would make the product even more valuable for enterprise environments. Overall the core functionality is strong but continued enhancement around automation, analytics depth, and ecosystem integration would make the platform more competitive.

Asset management has become streamlined and decision-making is now driven by lifecycle data
The best features IBM Maximo offers are that it is very simple to deploy on OpenShift using Ansible playbooks. It also has excellent support for integration, is simple to configure, and the asset register is very straightforward. Work management and managing inventory are seamless. In terms of integration support, I have used preventive maintenance, work generation, accurate work execution planning, tracking actuals, and I can easily integrate with other tools and systems. IBM Maximo Suite gives me a single place where service cycles are standardized and tied to compliance. IBM Maximo has positively impacted my organization as it has been a very useful tool. It reduced human error by moving away from pen and paper-based scheduling. It saved cost by minimizing unexpected downtime of assets, with approximately 50% of time being saved. We have also reduced overwork among staff by removing redundant information and smoothing task flows. It helps us scale our team without micromanaging small issues.

Pros

"For anyone looking into AWS Tweaker, I would say that it is an excellent choice for those ready to transition from basic cloud bill paying to active financial ops management."
"AWS Tweaker has positively impacted my organization by saving money due to its cost prediction feature, which allows us to predict costs and directly allocate budgets for adding any instances in AWS, thus helping us reduce expenses."
"Overall, I consider AWS Tweaker a practical and valuable solution for organizations looking to improve AWS cost governance, operational visibility, and resource optimization without introducing excessive complexity, providing centralized insights into cloud utilization and helping teams become more proactive in managing cloud efficiency, while there remains room for growth in areas like advanced analytics, automation depth, and broader enterprise integration."
"Flexibility is one of the key components, along with ease of use."
"Even if we do not look at the full software and we look at smaller use cases within the software, the ROI is often quite substantial."
"IBM Maximo is the best software for assets management."
"There are not many enterprise asset management systems on the market and not many that have the categories that IBM Maximo has."
"Preventive maintenance management."
"The most valuable feature is asset management maintenance as well as asset management overall."
"IBM Maximo has positively impacted our organization by decreasing inventory costs and optimizing engineers' work time."
"We have fully used Maximo for maintenance and inventory and purchasing management to manage cement factory operations and maintenance for more than 11 years."

Cons

"One area where AWS Tweaker could improve is in expanding its advanced analytics and predictive optimization capabilities, especially for organizations managing highly complex multi-cloud or large-scale enterprise environments, while the platform could also benefit from additional customization options in dashboards and reporting to provide teams with more flexibility in visualizing operational and financial data, and another improvement area could be deeper automation and remediation workflows where automation recommendations can be transformed into controlled automated actions with stronger governance and approval mechanisms, and I think continued UI refinement and broader integration support with other enterprise tools would enhance the overall user experience and operational efficiency."
"I suggest deeper support for managed services because many optimization tools focus heavily on EC2 and ignore services like RDS, ElastiCache, or MQ."
"I have not seen a return on investment, nor can I share relevant metrics such as money or time saved or fewer employees needed."
"From that perspective, the UI is quite old-fashioned, and that would be one of my main concerns."
"It needs full-service visibility. There are a lot of things that are hard for users to find out. For example, the Service Catalog is not too friendly. You really have to know what you're looking for."
"IBM Maximo is expensive, and it is not a very well-known product in India."
"It's not user-friendly. It could use shortcuts for frequently requested services."
"It could use some alignment regarding some standards and the tracking of the IT assets. Even though they have all of the information (i.e. where are the assets, who owns the asset, etc.), they were not mapping it to different cyber standards."
"The pricing model of the solution has room for improvement as well as the after-sales support."
"Maximo is a big system, so the initial setup is complex."
"Because of their competitiveness and their enterprise nature, the small companies are unable to do it."
