Secure API access for enterprises has improved and provides dynamic authentication for users
The best features Auth0 offers are its scalability and it is a better way of authenticating a user compared to just a tokenized version of authentication where the token is static and does not offer dynamic authentication compared to how Auth0 offers it. While working in a dynamic environment where there are many enterprises involved in the service, you need a tool that can authenticate them on the go, which is why I like it. Auth0 has positively impacted my organization. Previously we used the tokenized version of authentication. The work was simple, but when you push this code to deployment and enterprises are involved, it makes much more sense to authenticate them through Auth0 so that you can just get a login for yourself when you are authenticated, which helps to dynamically scale depending on the product and its viability. The specific outcomes since I started using Auth0 include time-saving, more security, and scalability, which are the three things I would emphasize.

Affordable, easy to use, and integrates well with Active Directory
The product and service are already great as it is but if I could add one feature, I guess it would be nice to have another factor of authentication (two additional factors) like your phone and a token for example, for when people forget their phone at home. It’s not that I mind not having two factors, but I do get that question from time to time from some of our users who think it would be really useful. From what I’ve heard, they’re working on it and it should be coming in the next version so that’s great news.

"It has improved our organization by providing login authentication for a mobile app."
"The most important feature for me was the ease of use, as it needed to be easy to integrate into my platform."
"It supports identity federation, FSO and multi-tenancy."
"I simply use the JWT from the client on the server side to process requests and push updated profile data to a database/queue as needed and end the process without having to persist data in the web server (sessions)."
"The valuable features are that it is extremely secure and that it's developer-friendly."
"The most valuable feature is that it is simple to integrate, irrespective of your codebase."
"The most valuable features are two-factor authentication and real-time logon monitoring."
"We mainly implemented UserLock for multi-factor authentication, but the user login insights are also nice."

Cons

"The Management API could be improved so it's easier to get user information."
"There is a possibility to improve the machine-to-machine authentication flow. This part of Auth0 is not really well documented, and we could really gain some additional knowledge on that."
"In the past, there was an issue with the multi-tenant where there wasn't the ability to manage them."
"The pricing should be lower. A reduction of 20-25% would be great."
"The product support for multi-tenancy could be improved."
"Better documentation for Salesforce integration is suggested."
"This is a costly solution and the price of it should be reduced."
"I find it surprising that there is no access to a standard user profile."
"I would like to see UserLock add the ability to automatically create a group policy in Active Directory. That might streamline the setup process."
"The product and service are already great as it is but if I could add one feature, I guess it would be nice to have another factor of authentication (two additional factors) like your phone and a token for example, for when people forget their phone at home."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Pricing of Auth0 is a pain point. Their pricing model is very confusing, at least for an enterprise. I don't like their pricing model. I think it's too aggressive. It's not very cheap for a service that only does authentication."
"It is a relatively inexpensive product in the industry."
"I am pretty happy with the pricing model of Auth0. It is very clear for me. Considering our scale, the features that we are using, and additional features that we bought, we still find it great. If you split the costs for the whole year and calculate the number of people you needed to hire, it always comes out to be much lesser than what we would have spent on building our own solution."
"The tool is cheaper compared to competing solutions. Those alternatives tended to be more expensive. Consequently, Okta purchased it because it was considerably cheaper. The solution even offered some free services while still providing excellent functionality."
"There are different price levels: B2B, B2C, and enterprise. The basic plan is about $1,500 per month."
"You will be hard-pressed to find better pricing."

The cost of the solution itself was cost-effective enough that I didn't even need to compare it with EntraID.
What needs improvement with Auth0?
I do not think there are any improvements needed for Auth0, other than maybe making it more visible to beginners. Auth0 could be made more accessible to beginners.
