What is our primary use case?
My main use case for
Oracle Application Express (APEX) is building software platforms for our customers.
A specific example of a platform I have built for a customer using Oracle Application Express (APEX) is a total planning system for the machinery of our customer.
I also use Oracle Application Express (APEX) for a company that is growing bulbs and for the planning of it.
What is most valuable?
Oracle Application Express (APEX) offers excellent features including being low-code, performing well in the AI race today, always evolving, and providing a very complete set for the developer.
The low-code aspect of Oracle Application Express (APEX) helps our team significantly because you accomplish what you want to do without focusing on how to do it, building it declaratively. It is also repository-driven, making software development better. The AI features are noteworthy too, as Oracle Application Express (APEX) Lang now exists as an intermediate language that can be generated by large LLM AI tools, enabling you to generate applications.
The completeness of Oracle Application Express (APEX) toolset is becoming more complete over time because all the new matters, such as responsive web design, charts, push notifications, and blockchain, are being added to the platform.
The impact of Oracle Application Express (APEX) on our organization is huge because we build our software for all our customers with it. Without it, we would have to use other tools, which we do not want to.
Oracle Application Express (APEX) has made things easier and faster for our team, specifically because of the low-code concept and the AI features integrated into it. You can build faster than with traditional coding.
What needs improvement?
I see room for improvement in Oracle Application Express (APEX), specifically in the customer-facing UI, which could be better or more adjustable; you can do everything you want, but at a certain point, you must handle things in CSS.
