I use HP Business Laptops mostly for my project-related work where I set up multiple environments and go through multiple API tokens, establish integrations, and batch process. Overall, it's product development work. Apart from setting up a personal assistant for personal work, I use HP Business Laptops professionally with certain virtual machine software and VDI setup inside the laptop. Once I access it, I use the laptop mostly to create documentation or reports and create visualization tasks using BI tools, primarily Power BI or Tableau, and I perform coding-related tasks. Regarding battery life, when I run many servers or heavy-duty work, such as establishing new integrations where I have to restart a server that takes around 25 to 30 minutes just to start, my battery drains fast. Regarding smoothness, when I run the server, it's a hard process where most of the focus goes to that. However, when I used other laptops as alternatives before, compared to HP Business Laptops, I was able to move from one application to another while my server was still running. When the server is running, I can do proper documentation including creating an IA doc, unit testing doc, or code review doc. Since using HP Business Laptops, I would say my organization was affected positively. When we used ThinkPads, the laptop used to get stuck, applications used to stop running, and sometimes applications used to close automatically, which caused issues that took more time to resolve. We had to focus only on that particular server and could not multitask. As soon as we switched to HP Business Laptops, we were able to perform multitasking and never faced any issues. This saved considerable time. If I had to estimate based on working 10 hours with server issues subtracted, we save around three to four hours in a day, which helped us reduce costs and we didn't need to hire new developers for our team. This saved us a lot of money in terms of not recruiting many people. I never really faced any technical issue with HP Business Laptops. We started with using Teams to connect with team members and conduct daily scrum calls. We save three to four hours a day because each time we try to do an integration, implement a batch process, or try to make a new event fire rule or any rule we are establishing, we have to restart our server to check whether it's working. If the rule is not affecting how it is supposed to or not working how it is supposed to, we would have to make changes again and restart the server. After the server is running, we go to the UI and check. Our server saves a lot of time. Generally, in other laptops, it used to take around 30 to 35 minutes in ThinkPad, but compared to HP Business Laptops, it takes only 20 to 25 minutes. We save around 10 minutes. When the server is running in these 25 minutes, I can parallelly create documentation, create a report, or anything else and give it to my manager. I do multitasking and it reduces my workload. I would say this is one of the best laptops for me. I reached out to HP Business Laptops customer support two to three times, and they were really nice. They have provided us proper documentation and everything. We never really faced any issues. The documentation really helped. I find that very resourceful. If I would advise developers who want a laptop suitable to run heavy environments, I would recommend HP Business Laptops because it is really flexible. You can do multiple tasks at a time and save considerable time, which in return translates to money. I would say it helps you in the long run. Initially, it is a little difficult if you do not know how to handle licensing and setup, but it is worth it. I believe HP Business Laptops is one of the best laptops I have ever used. As a developer, most coding-related tasks are very easy and I am able to do multiple tasks at a time. It handles heavy-duty performance very well. It is very durable because I dropped this laptop quite a few times from my hand, even falling right on the screen, but it does not have a scratch till now. I would recommend this product to anyone.
