We use the solution for cloud data protection, particularly for email and file-sharing systems. It integrates with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite to scan mailboxes for spam, viruses, and phishing attacks and prevent data leakage. We also use it to protect file systems like SharePoint and OneDrive.

I find Trend Micro Cloud App Security useful for scanning our email boxes. We can scan them one by one, which is a good feature. It's not just gateway-level protection - we integrate the email system with it. They have special protection and parameters for phishing emails.

Its Global Threat Intelligence platform is one of the leading ones, detecting many vulnerabilities. The solution is integrated into the Vision One platform, allowing us to gain visibility into the network and run security playbooks, which helps ensure organizational security.

For improvements, I think it would be great if Trend Micro Cloud App Security could enhance their product to be a single SASE solution. It should be similar to competitors like Palo Alto. 

The solution should also expand integration from the public cloud to the private cloud and add Cloud DLP and CASB features.

I have been working with the product for five years. 

Deployment is generally straightforward and good. A basic deployment typically takes about two hours to complete, though it can vary depending on client requirements, the number of agents, and the number of users. Usually, two engineers are involved in the deployment process from our side.

The phishing protection and file protection features can save organization data, directly impacting ROI.

We chose the solution because they've been Gartner leaders for over 15 years, have a good customer base, and are a well-established company. I'd rate the product an eight out of ten.

We use the solution to block phishing, spam, and impersonated emails.

The solution's feature for high-profile users' domains helps us detect impersonated emails. Also, its API-based features help in easy integration.

The solution is easy to integrate and has the best feature for high-profile users.

The solution's technical support services could be better.

The most valuable feature of Trend Micro Cloud App Security is its stability across all platforms, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook. As a healthcare support organization, this is immensely valuable as it instills confidence in scanning our documentation for our health engine. The ability to seamlessly scan across these crucial platforms enhances the overall security of our healthcare information, making it an essential component in safeguarding our sensitive data.

There is room for improvement in the DLP component of Trend Micro Cloud App Security. It currently feels very American-centric, and I would like to see better integration with Microsoft's traditional classification methods. This would enhance the platform's DLP capabilities, making it more aligned with our needs.

We are using the product to provide email security for Office 365.

Trend Micro Cloud App Security's most valuable feature is URL detection. It has more intelligence features than other vendors.

At the moment, we have only one corporate-level key. They should provide separate corporate-level licenses for two to three instances. Every instance must have one super admin and can manage a specific group of PCs.

We have been using Trend Micro Cloud App Security for three years. It is a SaaS model and gets updated automatically. Thus, we are using the latest version.

It is a stable product.

The product is scalable enough. We have over 800 users and require two to three administrators to manage it.

Trend Micro Cloud App Security's technical support services could be better. Whenever I log the case, I get a response after 24 hours.

It is a SaaS model. Thus, the initial setup is easy. We encounter issues related to corporate-level keys. There need to be separate keys for different branches. Our office in Singapore has a SaaS model, which cannot be used by our office in UAE as there is no option to share the key.

The product's pricing is reasonable compared to other vendors like Cisco. The maintenance and support are involved in the standard licenses; we don't have to pay additionally. Although, it could be flexible at the corporate level.

We are still using two products, Trend Micro and Cisco, for email security. We are not confident enough that one product can protect our infrastructure. 

Trend Micro's spoof detection and email security features need improvement. I rate it a seven out of ten.

I've used the solution to implement security in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. 

We use it in our customer's organizations. It helps keep them secure. It helps handle security issues within the internal exchange online, among other tasks. 

The most valuable feature is the security capabilities.

The granulation of the policy setup needs to be better. Right now, it is too basic. 

The DLP module does not support file attributes.

The VLP part of Cloud App Security needs a lot of improvement. 

It would be great if Trend Mail Cloud App Security would be joined with a web security solution, making it a multiple-network solution.

This is the only incident that comes to mind in terms of security issues.

Our business emails are very important and Trend Micro Cloud App Security has provided a high level of protection. Additionally, there are updating the solution frequently.

The price of the solution could improve by being lower.

The implementation of Trend Micro Cloud App Security is straightforward. 

As a salesperson or someone in a management position, my role involves monitoring the organization to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction. Although I am not a technical advisor, I found the process to be straightforward and easy to manage. My priority is to make sure that the customer is happy with the service we provide.

We did the implementation of the solution and we make sure our customers are happy. The team that is used for the implementor should be an expert.

We used a number of people for the implementation. One person from our team, one person from the integrator, and the Trend Micro team to ensure the configuration is done well.

Implementing this solution can yield a return on investment. We had a client who suffered from a security threat because they didn't have this solution in place.

The price of Trend Micro Cloud App Security is expensive for regular users. There are not any hidden fees. First-time users of the solution should purchase implementation packages or professional services.

Whether or not this solution is suitable for the customer will depend on their budget and the market they operate in.

It can be useful for endpoint security and security for your networks. Plus, since it's on the cloud, there are advantages regarding the cost.

On the cloud, we have about 5 to 10 clients using this solution.

Trend Micro has DLP features in it, which separates it from other solutions.

In the next release, I would like to see the cost go down.

We are customers of Trend Micro and I'm the IT manager. 

This is a very dependable solution and we are able to have a lot of Trend Micro security products integrated between each other. 

The pricing of this solution is quite high, about double what other similar solutions cost. I think they could do a better job with their documentation. It's sometimes difficult to find what you're looking for, they need to do a lot of work on that side of things. Improvement documentation and merchandise.

The initial setup of this solution was quite complex. It's probably best to have some specialists or some integrator to help install the solution. Deployment takes about half a day. It doesn't take long but you have to get it right the first time.
