Can accomplish more with this tool than with a website or shared drive, yet reporting is weak

A large percentage of our employee base is remote at client locations. A web-based VMS allows anyone to access our catalog, and to work on their professional development, 24/7, regardless of location. I am a single system admin for over 600 users. I can accomplish much more with this tool than with a website or shared drive that doesn't have reporting, assignment, and other capabilities.

The learning aspect is the life of a product, and the training was a huge reason why we went with Ultimate. We did have some integration costs.
