If you had asked me a few weeks ago, I would have said the user interface needed improvement, but we've just updated it. It looks really modern now, and it's a lot easier to use. At the moment, I don't have anything specific for improvement. Additionally, I would suggest different roles for users. We want the ability to lock down certain functions for certain user roles to prevent accidental changes, such as an apprentice accidentally deleting a customer.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most important feature is data processing, and I like the dashboard and the undo or multi-call feature of Microsoft Purview Customer Lockbox."
"The most important feature is data processing."
"When we implemented SpamTitan, it went down to zero."
"Just try it; install it, run it, and try it; it’s incredibly simple to use, it sets up in minutes, and there are wonderful account and support teams."
"It works as it should. It allows users to manage emails that they receive, meaning they can set up whitelists and blacklists."
"Every client that uses it experiences a productivity boost."
"It's catching things that might otherwise have gotten through in the past. That was when we were working with a site that didn't put emails through two antiviruses before they got to our system."
"I would highly recommend this solution to others."
"SpamTitan is perfectly suited for managed service providers. It's easy to use and sell. It's also straightforward to configure and monitor. In my opinion, software developers at TitanHQ did an excellent job with SpamTitan."
"It filters some of the spam."

Cons

"The pricing for personal users is not cost-effective. It feels expensive for individual expenses."
"Sometimes, things can get caught back in spam that you had previously released. Without going in, releasing the whole domain, and opening it up, since you don't want to do that often because the company can get infected as well, I have a couple of things that I previously released show back up again. I don't understand why this is happening, but I would like to know why it happened, e.g., did an algorithm change? It is important to know if I released an email last week why it was caught in spam the following week."
"The stability of SpamTitan is equivalent to other email security solutions that I have previously used. Some of them have more bells and whistles that you can add."
"I'm not 100% sure how well they scan certain attachments."
"If I had to actually find a negative, it would be the speed. I wish that the interface were faster. We have very fast internet, but there is definitely some sluggishness between pages on the interface. Does that deter me? No. I just wish it were quicker."
"Its GUI can definitely be improved. As the administrator of the product, the GUI isn't very logically built."
"Specifying your own filtering rules can be somewhat tricky."
"The support hours are tough for U.S.-based companies like ours, because they're in Europe. They did tell me that they're opening a support office in the U.S. There is, currently, some overlap in support, but it's difficult to get real-time support and, a lot of the time, I just need a quick answer."
"The interface needs to be improved; some elements aren't where I expect them to be, so it could be more intuitive."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"We're satisfied with the pricing and licensing for SpamTitan."
"It's not extremely expensive. Other solutions get really pricey, really fast."
"The price of this solution is low. When you do purchase everything is included in the licensing cost."
"Partner profitability is good with Titan HQ's partner program. This means that I recommend it to clients who trust me. My time and effort to educate them is compensated by TitanHQ, who provides the solution to me at a lower price than what the public gets it at, then I can make some money."
"The price point is still of a reasonable nature. It is reasonable for the services that they offer. They are very reasonable, and that is one of the factors why we decided on SpamTitan a long time ago."
"The price is good by today's standards. You actually get what you pay for."
"Everything has really been great with the pricing and licensing. In fact, we just implemented ArcTitan because everything was going so well with SpamTitan."
"SpamTitan has competitive pricing and flexible licensing. They allow up to 10% more that you use and then add it to the next tier of licenses."
