Automation increases efficiency, but pricing needs to be more competitive
Improvement is needed in making it cheaper, of course. I am not emphasizing making it cheaper, however, it should be more competitive with other products. The product itself is very good and helpful for me as a customer. The issue always is the price, as we cannot beat most of our competitors on pricing alone. If a product is just nice to have, not essential like an antivirus, if it's not really competitive with pricing, we cannot sell it.

Enhances remote access and integration with third-party tools
I use NinjaOne for managing smaller clients, specifically their devices and software, for small to medium businesses. I provide remote management services through NinjaOne. It allows clients to use NinjaOne for remote access to their computers for home office purposes. This feature is highly…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It's a simple and humble tool."
"The remote support and data collection features are great."
"Automating processes is crucial for me, so the automation part stands out."
"If I want to automate the management and maintenance of my server automatically, this product is a good use case for that."
"Kaseya Traverse is a very stable solution and very sustainable in terms of what the market wants, what is out there, price-wise and functionality features. They're quite competitive and they are always innovating."
"Everything is running seamlessly on the solution, to the point where you don't see any gap."
"We have found the solution to be very flexible to our requirements. We have been able to configure it on-premise effectively when we were using less of the cloud."
"It is a pretty stable solution...It is a pretty stable solution."
"The solution's most valuable feature is related to its remote access...I know that NinjaOne's technical support is good."
"The tool's most valuable feature is third-party application updates."
"NinjaOne helps us view the status of software patching, whether the PC is locked or unlocked."
"The policies are probably the most valuable features. They're similar in function to Microsoft group policies where we can have it monitor certain things or push out software on a schedule. I would rate the policies eight out of 10. They're robust, I could monitor most of the things that Windows Performance Monitoring keeps tabs on."
"The installation is easy, it only took two minutes."
"The most important aspect of this tool is the security it provides our company."
"We can use it for remote monitoring, and it also works great as a troubleshooting tool. We are able to open up a command line or a PowerShell session remotely without having to disrupt the user. They have a limited network device monitoring capability, but for workstation servers, we have the event logs. We can do performance monitoring, system changes, software deployment, and patch management. We can also push scripts. It has a very simple web interface. There are no additional things to do there. Security is also pretty good. It does the same things that the other competitor's tools do. One of the advantages of Ninja is that they have a more capable mobile app, which allows you to see the alerts immediately. I get alerted to major critical issues."
"The best feature of NinjaOne is the SLA system. Every IT person can check their performance, how long it takes to resolve an issue, and how many SLAs are breached."

Cons

"Reporting is a bit difficult."
"Reporting is tedious and not organized in the way customers expect."
"Improvement is needed in making it cheaper."
"However, the issue lies in the adequacy of the responses to my questions, which are usually not up to par."
"Kaseya Traverse can improve by adding a Service Map to help us create a configuration management database (CMDB), this would be helpful for us."
"In terms of what could be improved, we are innovating all the time, as well as having a look at different avenues so that the strategy follows the structure. I think the software is still a little bit too new to actually fully asses what it has."
"We've noticed a few bugs as of late. However, this seems to only be in the reporting part of the product."
"The tool needs to have some AI capabilities, which it lacks currently."
"The remote connectivity could be better. It works most of the time, but sometimes, there are issues."
"NinjaOne's dashboard could be easier to use."
"There was a lot of delay with NinjaOne's ticketing system. For example, when a user creates a ticket and raises an issue, it would take 30 to 40 minutes to appear on the IT side. So the time delay issue is the main point."
"The ticketing system in NinjaOne is not the best."
"The network monitoring needs to be improved."
"I want NinjaOne to improve the reports."
"It can have more integrations with third-party providers, such as Deep Instinct. They do partner with certain antivirus or remote access tool partners, but they can increase their portfolio to have more choices."
"Improvements could be made to reduce NinjaOne's functionalities to focus more on inventory or remote help tools."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is not cheap, but it is not too expensive."
"The price depends on whether you are monitoring different applications, especially in bulk, and depends on what you're doing. If you're monitoring one endpoint, it will cost you 150 ZAR."
"It roughly costs $400 a month. It provides a good value because of the number of tools that you get in the solution. I would rate it a four out of five in terms of pricing. There are no additional costs other than the standard licensing fees."
"We got a pretty good deal. It was fairly affordable."
"NinjaRMM uses a subscription model."
"NinjaOne's price is fine since my workplace is an educational institution, so we get the product at a really good price considering that we do not pay taxes, making the prices very fair and worth the product."
"The product's pricing depends on the number of PCs or devices."
"Its pricing is great."
"The pricing is reasonable and cheaper than ConnectWise."
"I rate the solution’s pricing a five out of ten, where one is the lowest and ten is the most expensive."
