Has strengthened privileged access control and improved audit visibility through session monitoring and password rotation
On the identity product side, it is awesome. However, they can improve in the documentation parts. For example, if there is a migration process, I can see the maximum customers are moving from self-hosted to on-premises or from on-premises to the cloud. It would be helpful if they released a generalized document for processes such as migration. A clear overview document would assist us in understanding more about the tool, configurations, and automations to enhance our security. Regarding the initial setup of CyberArk Identity, I faced some challenges. At some points, I could not find proper documentation for deploying, enhancing, or integrating with other components. I could not find the proper documentation in the community portal.

Utilizing key management and seamless single sign-on integration for enhanced user profile management
WSO2 Identity Server's key management feature stands out as a particularly impactful feature for enhancing security. Additionally, from a user perspective, the self-user portal and user profile management capabilities are highly valuable. It allows users to manage their profiles, change passwords, and offers a self-care portal type of functionality. The single sign-on capability integrates seamlessly with various platforms, including Google, Facebook, LDAP, and Active Directory, which supports rapid product launches.

"As soon as it is implemented, it fundamentally changes how users access systems, providing immediate security benefits."
"The best feature of CyberArk Identity is the single sign-on feature that offers quick and one-click access."
"CyberArk Identity provides identity governance and gives me control over who and how access to environments occurs, offering significant confidentiality in what is accessed."
"The most valuable features of CyberArk Identity are its ability to control access to administrative staff."
"I found the solution to be stable."
"CyberArk Identity's ability to safeguard financial services infrastructure is good."
"The single sign-on procedure itself, as well as the ability to connect to external user sources such as Microsoft Active Directory and LDAP servers, are the solution's most valuable features."
"The solution gets the job done, and we don't have to do the main configuration."
"The feature that I found most valuable was the ecosystem, which is very comprehensive and allowed me to find the components that I wanted to use, including the identity server and the API."
"It's very easy to implement everything."
"I use this solution to generate keystores and certifications and link these with project development in our company."
"The Identity Server has been able to manage our complete user base with ease - including authorization and authentication."
"The keystore feature has been most valuable for us."
"Comprehensive ecosystem."

Cons

"The solution's difficulty in gaining skill sets should be improved because it's a vertical product."
"The tool has issues with the third-party SMS gateway. The solution has its own SMS gateway. Integration support is a challenge when we don’t use their SMS gateway. The tool also needs to improve its scalability."
"They can include the Mobile Device Management (MDM) feature."
"I'm not sure what needs improvement. It is a good platform."
"They could improve their UI and make everything more user-friendly."
"The product is not cheap, especially if you opt for an on-premise deployment requiring a complex server infrastructure. On the other hand, choosing the software as a service version simplifies infrastructure requirements but necessitates being online all the time."
"The user interface could be improved."
"The reporting functionality is somewhat complicated. While I would rate CyberArk Identity and Okta on the same level, Okta's reporting is crisper and clearer."
"First, improvements have to been made in the high availability architecture. This has to do with the master-slave replication, and how the load balancing is handled between the identity servers."
"Sometimes working with the code is difficult because I search for documentation about the code and how to work with the code, which is where I believe they should improve, by providing some documentation on how to work with the code."
"I tried the product but I found it very cumbersome, so I no longer use it."
"The solution's licensing model could be more flexible, and pricing could be improved."
"The solution could improve its development from a user perspective."
"This solution does not have BPM workflows already integrated, we had to integrate the BPM module externally. They do not provide full-featured auditing and certification modules out of the box."
"The solution seems to be pretty outdated."
"The high availability architecture has to be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Their pricing is obviously a lot higher than many vendors in the marketplace but their service is also unmatched."
"The solution is cheap and I rate its pricing an eight out of ten."
"It's not that affordable compared to Delinea or other products. They're less expensive and allow more customization. For the cost, it is expensive."
"There is an initial license and then there is a subscription needed."
"I think it is a fairly priced tool. I rate the tool between six and seven on a scale of one to ten where one is expensive, and ten is cheap."
"There could be some additional costs apart from the licensing costs of the solution when you want to develop connectors in CyberArk Identity."
"The pricing of CyberArk Identity is competitive."
"We find that the pricing and licensing of this solution is adequate, as compared to the other competitors in the market."
"I have found the solutions license is priced competitively compared to others."
"They should bring in some good pricing models to host the marketplace."
"WSO2 Identity Server is not an expensive solution."
"I rate the product price an eight out of ten. There is a need to pay more for the extra features provided by the solution."
"At this time we are working with the open-source version."
"We have to take their support, but that is a minimal charge if I'm comparing it to other identity managers."
