"The most valuable feature is the protection and the way it works, the technology is what I like the most."
"Integration is one of the solution's most valuable aspects. You can integrate even third-party solutions so that they can send the information or files they quarantine through the FortiSandbox"
"It is an easily scalable solution."
"The most valuable features of Fortinet FortiSandbox are customization, ICAP protocol, and integration with other vendors. Additionally, the security work very well."
"The product is great. It can be deployed on the cloud or on-premises."
"It gives us the ease that we are secure. We have set up the proper things that help make our data safe."
"We use the product on our Azure network firewalls."
"In Palo Alto the most important feature is the App-ID."
"It has excellent scalability."
"It helps in offering advanced protection against malware and anti-spyware, which is based on customer feedback stating the product has very good threat prevention capabilities."
"The most valuable features are web control and IPS/IDS."
"The most valuable features are security and support."
"With the improved visibility we now have, the traffic is being properly monitored, which means that we are better able to manage it. These are improvements that we saw very quickly."

Cons

"If we can have more dashboards, it would be good."
"Fortinet FortiSandbox can improve by decreasing the time of analysis response. Other solutions have a better response time, such as WildFire."
"The initial setup of Fortinet FortiSandbox is complex. You cannot only deploy Fortinet FortiSandbox without deploying the stack of Fortinet solutions. The implementation and integration are challenging tasks with the device and placement in the network. We needed to do POC and offloading testing."
"For the MSSPs, it would be great if the product could display all the threat chains on a dashboard since it is an area where the tool is currently lacking."
"There could be more templates and a higher number of simulated VMs to configure more use cases. Sometimes we need to configure many use cases in many different environments, and if the number of VMs that we configure is limited, we have to remove some and reconfigure the environment if we need another environment."
"Not practical for real-time web traffic analysis because users won't wait for the FortiSandbox to complete its analysis before accessing content"
"If you were to compare prices between vendors and manufacturers, you would see that the lowest equipment in the Sandbox line is quite expensive for a new customer."
"The licensing can be very confusing. It needs to be simplified."
"The initial setup of Palo Alto Networks VM-Series was somewhat challenging, requiring extensive documentation review. I rate it a six out of ten for ease."
"When managing the firewall, it involves a Strata Cloud web browser that requires improvement to enhance deployment ease and call center efficiency."
"In the next release, I would like to see better integration of multi-factor authentication vendors."
"Palo Alto is that it is really bad when it comes to technical support."
"People are less aware of Palo Alto."
"The solution needs to have more easily searchable details or documentation about it online, so it's easier to Google if you have queries."
"At the beginning of the implementation, we had some difficulties with the scripts, but Palo Alto Networks support together with a local partner finally fixed it."
"Just sometimes it can be a bit sluggish navigating through pages. That is just purely because of Java."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is unavailable at a lower cost and can be difficult to deploy."
"The price is competitive."
"We are on an annual license to use the solution. We have an additional feature that is integrated with S5, which is working well."
"The price of Fortinet FortiSandbox is expensive."
"The price of Fortinet FortiSandbox is not expensive."
"The solution is not expensive at all."
"The solution is affordable."
"FortiSandbox is a subscription that can be purchased from Fortinet directly. Only using FortiSandbox as features purchased as a subscription in the cloud."
"Based on the customer budget, they can choose from 12-month, 36-month, or 60-month licensing models."
"When you have a client compare box against box, a lot of times Palo Alto is a bit more expensive, but its network firewalls have a very rich ratio."
"The price of this solution is very high for some parts of Africa, which makes it a challenge."
"The box, if you do not want to buy the threat prevention license in the box, you can buy it only with the support license. It is for the support of the hardware. It works like a simple firewall. It integrates what it calls user IDs and application IDs. If you do not buy any other license, only the firewall, Palo Alto will also help you improve a lot of your security."
"Purchasing on the AWS Marketplace was simple, effective, and easy."
"The product is cheaper than the on-premise version."
"The licensing is pretty much like everyone else."
"I rate Palo Alto Networks VM-Series pricing an eight out of ten."
